  • On October 9, 2022 Wilco announced a surprise pop up show at Chicago's Famous Late-Night Honky Tonk, Carol's Pub. After the first show quickly sold out, the band added a second. When the line continued, they added a third.
It was a special night in celebration of the band's 12th studio album, Cruel Country. Of course we filmed it! Enjoy this edit of the band performing "A Story To Tell," "I Am My Mother," "Cruel Country" and "Falling Apart (Right Now)."
Get Cruel Country now on vinyl or CD: ada.lnk.to/CruelCountry
And continue the celebration with the band on upcoming tour dates in the US / ICELAND / EU / UK / IRELAND! Tickets are available at Wilcoworld.net/shows

I understand somebody who's been on the road I know where he's coming from others who come back into town still lives the past what they lived before taking it out on their victims can they learn to live a normal life than victimized the ones who have not victimized them or seen them for years they're totally fun local and crazy and out of control right but this feeling cheating and the deceit of robbery of someone who has never done them wrong makes them the perpetrator they'll always be and they will live with the guilt of it for the rest of their life until the day comes when we're all under the sun and everything will be done our Father who Art in heaven high will be thy name thy kingdom come thy will be done on Earth as it is in heaven give us this day our daily bread forgive us our trespasses against this latest not to temptation but deliver Us from evil red eyes that Kingdom and power and Glory forever in Jesus name amen
