So nice to see Pat Sansone get some more breathing room and a chance to contribute more prominently. What a fine musician he is! He and Nels seemed to have a good connection going through that improvisation. The smile on Nels' face told the story. He doesn't smile very much!
This might the finest Wilco performance I’ve seen. Pat has really upped his game, and there’s a dynamism between he and Nels that wasn’t there when they debuted this song.
