I like Marathon watches a lot. I have to make some room before I get one. I was reading about SEL Instruments today. They make watches very similar to Marathon, but turned up to 11. I still think I'd prefer a Marathon, but the SEL watches are hand machined, very over the top. It was fun to check them out. Fratello is also starting an EDC segment. It's more watch focused, but still an interesting read.
It is interesting how engaging that was... I have yet to take apart a knife that completely. You make me hope that I might be a le to do it eventually....

I only own the Rat II out of those three, but I can say that it has excellent durability, and the ergos are great. I'm blown away by how good the fit and finish is on a knife with a relatively low price tag. :)
Thx for this no chat with crisp sounds mode... this really gave me some cool and unique ideas for something I'm working on 💡 Can you please do a video (however short) on "field note" pad and pen carries?? I really wanna buy one of the hitch'n'timber leather carrier's but frankly I'm hung up on making myself go big!! I'm literally writing people throwaway notes on cheap tear away pads everyday for work, however I did get last Christmas a large pack of limited edition Field note notebook brand and rite in rain pocket pads. But it feels like I'm wasting the pricey and durable, well made paper just to jot down a one liner or phone number on them. So I never use them and they're collecting dust. Enough rambling 😝 somebody convince me to use the fancy stuff!! Or give me cool ideas to put smart ideas or keepsakes on them, so I wouldn't have to tear and toss.
Hey Taylor, I'm a lefty with the left handed version of the PM2. They mirrored the compression lock & the scales are different because of it. Any idea if aftermarket scales exist for that knife?
Dang… I had pretty much settled on a Bugout or 940, but I REALLY like how that PM2 looks with those scales. Too bad the scales are out of stock right now.
