For people watching this and being confused: The U-shaped symbol under the crosshair while in operator-mode is the energy charge you have left. The more of it that's yellow, the more charge you have left. When fighting the Kuva Guardians, they are completely invulnerable so long as they have their melee weapon. Once you burst and dash against them, you can just switch back to your Frame and kill them like any other enemy.

If y'all wanna beat sentient style enemies use ash. Slash dmg that ignores dmg resistance, plus the status which also ignores dmg resistance. It ain't no instakill, mostly because I don't max out ash's dmg, but it's fast and relatively safe.
Untrue!!! They can be blinded! However, blind lasts like a quarter of the time against them. I used to use Inaros against them all the time just for this, since he could blind them and take their hits. They are immune to blind however when in their cyclone attack.
Soro or Fein i'm mastery 6, have not even half the weapons or frames, bought myself the first stage of the prime access. I just went full fashion frame. Don't do drugs kids
Teshin: "The braids are vulnerable now. Destroy them!" SU: "Okay so what am I supposed to do? I don't know what to do" The amount of facepalms in this is too damn high
People need to stop telling you to remove that cyst. Without spoiling anything, it may be something you will want to have in the near future, and once it's gone from a frame, you (allegedly) can't get it on that frame again.
That not a spoil if we said what it is . It's an option in the ship , this is only really explicated after nidus quest ... It's like the kubrow incubator , but you already have the segment .
Two things; First, you're wrong. Properly modded, and paired with certain frames, it is potentially the most durable and hardest hitting of any of the pets. Second, there are only a couple of things in the entire game that are objectively as you call it, 'shit', and even then with enough good mods and forma can still hold their own even at sortie level. Bonus: Even if it IS shit, he's going to eventually want the mastery from it, so your uninformed opinion (which is all it is) is what is actually, as you say, 'shit'.
I am really liking your content SkillUp, and I'm glad Warframe is getting attention, but please, you're rushing this a bit much just as other people are saying. Plus... Also the point of hiding the Second Dream behind 150 hours. That is nothing close to how it is for other players who aren't spoiled by the community and DE. I say you should at least start researching how to mod your stuff(Which. You're handed on a platter while everyone else has to work for through hours of grind)
Hey dude, loved the highlights. The infestation room, there isn't much to it but you can access it at anytime if you are using the Nidus warframe - while inside, the infestation shall talk to you and it's really fucking creepy
Hey Skill Up I just wanted to thank you for your review video on Warframe. It convinced me to download the game (about 3 days ago) and I already have about 20 hours on the game itself. And I spent $50 on it because why the hell not, it is fantastic. Don't think I will need another game for a VERY long time because of you and your great review. Thanks again!
It’s not that he didn’t know, but that he was always acting as wrong as possible. I couldn’t watch the sacrifice one, after he inched along the orbiter to find the helmet, and then got to the investigation segment and started b-hopping all over the place, and not standing still. *He even said it was Witcher mode!* He know it was investigating time!!!
i dont know if anyone told you, but when you are fighting a sentient(those things on the second dream that kicked your ass) and when they becone immune to your damage, if you tap 5 and shoot the sentient with your operator beam, it will remove thier damage immunity, so you can deal normal amounts of damage to them
For future reference (if you still look at the comments of this video), make sure you pay attention to the HUD. First of all, the circular icon next to your abilities has been there since The Second Dream, and is your Focus ability. Second, when you're playing as your operator, the little arc and lines underneath your aiming reticle show you how much energy you have based on how much it's lit up. Third, make sure you look at the various waypoint markers on the main screen and on the minimap. Those will show you were to go, and what to do. Also, the Queen's shield thing was pretty obvious; it's there, then disappears when she shoots. Really, you should just use your eyes a little more in general. :P
I have no comparison to the amount of obliviousness that Skill Up has, he didn't realize that the "pod man" was him, is told that it was him, and then proceeds as soon after " so I think that those pod guys...". As well as for all of the obvious stuff thrown at you in the operator training with the MAWs and such. Lucky bastard got a bugged first one, took me 20+ tries since my W key is iffy. He continues on to the part where you fight your "first" sentinel and I'm amazed to how he's not realizing that it's resisting status effects and not individual weapon damage. As well as when after such when at the void tower area where you just walk up and destroy an object he doesn't realize that there are others that he can destroy and in tow it will unlock the others to destroy. The Queen fight is self explanatory as to what the hell happened there, I'll give him a pass on the Kuva guardians since that wasn't really explained. And in the end mother trucker got a SOMA RIVEN!!!! Ha please DE show that you hate more deserving people more, I got a fucking Pyrana riven and was completely trash until I found a clan mate who wanted a Pyrana riven and sold it to him for 30 plat. I love Skill up, it's just that it's hard to like his gameplay. His Warframe review pretty much got him a shit ton more fame, nothing wrong with that (props to him for RUclips's recommendation system), it's just that how the hell does this sort of luck happens. There are coinsidences and then there are pure undeniable bull shit probability chances that confound science and make it seem all rigged. I literally shat myself when I saw SOMA on that riven, I wasn't expecting much and bam I didn't notice I was in the bathroom cleaning myself and pants for the unexpected. So to wrap it all up DE WTF!?
I'm glad all this big RUclipsrs are finally finding this game...... realizing what a developer can do without charging 60$ plus 30- 40$ per dlcs ..... i put in 100$ on this game in 2 years and I got so much more out of it than the 150$ i put in destiny in the same amount of time..... won't make that mistake again.
Luna Kaze I've never understood why other Warframe players like to do that. They are two completely different games, and it's idiotic to thrash each other's fans.
I played both an undoubtedly Destiny is a good game , but the one thing i disliked very much its short lifespan , after a couple year it is gonna be replaced by a new one ( Destiny 2 for ex ) like if i summed up Destiny is like a short term relationships , while warframe is kinda like longterm relationships :P
The reason you have to wait 150 hours is the same reason that its so good. you became connected to the lotus and your warframe, and your mindset had been put in place. and when this quest comes everything is thrown off (the second dream)
MR15 locked, because Riven Mods are something for those that mastered a lot of weapons, but want to keep their special favourite weapon. You are rushing through Warframes Content, so you are getting access to many things waaay to early. Sit back and relax, you have the whole game in front of you ;)
Jesus. I really liked your Division videos. But watching you play Warframe is rather painful. Whenever there is something new, a new gameplay mechanic, new lore, u start rushing around, doing so much stuff at once instead of waiting for a moment, listening to what the NPCs have to say or take a closer look at your interface (you even have one for your void energy as an operator, although i have to agree with you that that system should get a rework as it isn't very fun as it is now). And of course that makes it harder for you to get through some parts since you are missing information that the game has actually given to you. Maybe have an eye out for that in the future ;) Oh, and I'm sorry, that you had so many bugs in the quest. I played it over 10 times myself and never had a single one. Some of them were hilarious though xD
Skill Up not going to lie: I'm kinda jealous. I'm on PS4 but would love to play with you, Rob, DK and Brozime. That'd be amazing. Love the stream and the videos. Keep up the good work and welcome, again, to Warframe!
Julio Cesar I have yet to see Shy in action. She's more like a myth or legend to me rather than real life, but with how much DK talks about her I have a feeling I would enjoy playing Warframe with her too
Yes my favorite quest! I liked the Second Dream for its lore but I really like the War Within for its character development content. It was a very heartfelt quest for me. Skill Up, thank you for your continued effort to bring us such nice vids. I know how hard it is to edit these things and your work to bring these vids out is very much appreciated. I hope you continue to enjoy WF and I look forward to further vids from your channel.
By how many face palms i did my hand is practically through my face. the amount of things you didn't see that where obvious is incredible. obviously the first time someone does the mission you wouldn't know what you're doing but at least look at the twitch chat which is screaming at you and trying to tell you how to do it.
But some things were *literally said out loud in game.* like for sacrifice: Ordis: “use void blast!” This guy: pulls operator back into Warframe and starts shooting it. “wHy iSn’T iT wOrKiNg??1?”
Watched whole video before u made highlights, was worth it :D Died laughing inmy chair like 3 or 4 times at least :D.. but yeh man I suggest to don't look at Twitch chat when playing lore quests it's even better without ppl giving hints or telling u what to choose or do. Looking forward next stream/videos!
1:02:00 "Im out of juice, there need to be a recharge buff for my juice" It's right at the center of your screen bruhhhhhhhhhh (insert ultimate facepalm GIF) -______________________-
The game only has a few "story" quests. If Quests like Second Dream and War Within were available earlier, many players would expect quests like that to be the norm. As you said, the game is mostly a f2p looter shooter, so it makes sense for quests like that to be later on to shake things up, not to set the tone for the whole experience.
The movements were jerky because you were in sprint mode of the archwing. Shift can toggle between the 2 modes. I personally love archwing content it reminds me of old gundam style games.
I was literally screaming at my monitor most of this video. - You talk over the dialog and then have no idea what is going on. - You don't pay attention when characters tell you how to defeat them and then fail miserably in parts i where i had no idea failure was an option - and oh god so much cringe
Ever since your Warframe review I've fell in love with your content, not only Warframe vids but the reviews and even destiny content which has got me excited for destiny 2 :D hope you keep making videos!
Was waiting for this since I had to go after second dream. Cheers for making it to War Within. Looking forward for more Warframe content. Also loved your other videos and Laymen Gaming.
you complain about having to wait 150 hours to get to this quest yet some of us waited 9 months after they announced it, imagine that wait (btw like 5 of those months were not planned they just kept running into "problems" and had to [DE]lay like 5 times.)
I really wasnt complaining. I was remarking how brave a decision it was for DE to hold that sort of content back, where most other developers would have dropped it in the first ten hours of the game (even after it was released many years into the life of the base game).
I really hope you do more videos of your warframe quest adventures (Chains of Harrow anyone?). It is truly interesting to watch a new Tenno experience these quests even with 150 hours plus vs a veteren. The mind-blown effect is different which comes from the veteran's experience and knowledge they had built for months in anticipation to the updates. The pleasure and enthusiasm you exhibit is very infectious and it reminds me of why I love tailing new Tenno. Your movement is spectacular with your warframe. I take immense joy watching you navigate obstacles with your bullet jumps. As always, take your time to enjoy Warframe and good luck Tenno!
You end up with a Soma Riven mod as your reward....wow. just wow. gg you can ignore everything else now because the Soma, the rifle you love to use has immense potential power. I don't know if someone else explained it to you before, but if not here is why the gun is really good and why the riven mod pluss two other mods can turn this thing into an even bigger beast than it already is. Since it has a 30% crit chance, you should put every crit damage and chance increasing mod in there that you can find or have and try to reach for 100% crit chance. With help of that riven mod that can be rerolled to have both more crit damage and crit chance that is you should be able to reach that goal. reason for that is that with Vital sense, a mod that increases your crit damage to an addition 120% can increase the damage you put out up to 660%.. With a 100% crit chance and 6,6 times more damage on a crit you will melt absolutly everything. so lucky you. I'm jealous. :D
Second Dream at 150hrs, TWW shortly after... Dude you're barely out of the tutorial phase and still have hundreds more to actually understand enough mechanics. Stop RUSHING! You're missing out on the excellent power growing RPG elements and skipping right into the endless grind. You can't even one shot level 15 enemies yet!
Imagine people play for 3 years, consuming every bit of lore and making so much speculation on WHAT the Tenno are, and Second Dream straight up showed you. And then War Within came after and expanded upon this weak shrimp child that you are.
Man, watching the videos of you playing induces such cringe! Lotus: "Keep the ship between yourself and the beams." You: *flies into one of the beams* Listen to your space mom! Still fun to watch you though.
*started watching* "be interested in the choices you make" When did warframe become telltale? Edit 1: Steam room of hell seems like a lot of fun :/ Edit 2: Nice journey refrence, twas a good game Edit 3: Cant play warframe without bugs :) Edit 4: T POSE MODEL FOR THE WIN! Edit 5: This whole worm section reminds me of the antlion section in half life. Edit 6: Parkour should be difficult if we do it regularly. Also is this heaven? Edit 7: After this finishes, im gonna read all possibilities due to curiousity
Part 2 of my input: A lot of people have been complaining but all the operator powers using the same energy pool. Because when you run out, you are stuck there twiddling your thumbs waiting for it to recharge. Fun fact: Transference was originally intended to be released at the end of second dream, but got held back because time constraints. (As seen by the active branches in the focus tree.) A lot of stuff in the focus trees are intended placeholders and temporary. Which did work out for war within, but not so much for gameplay. (Tap 5, versus hold 5 and focus trees) Hopefully with the focus rework/ actual release of it, we will get something more fleshed out of it than hold 5 for focus passive and forget about it for the rest of the mission. (Along with operator armor and void weapons)
During one of the Dev Streams they mentioned that it will be good to side with the light or the dark then going for a neutral decision as they are planning to add stuff to it in the future. For example it will be kinda akin to Infamous. Light powers or Dark powers with potential story split.
While it's great that you're advocating Warframe and getting ppl into it... holy hell, I cringed so much. 90% of the things you were stuck on, when you didn't know what to do and such were being explained to you, by the game, as you asked the chat what was going on. Sheesh! But anyway, glad you're enjoying the game!
Just finished The War Within quest and had to jump over to Skill Up's page to see your thoughts and get some clarity. I also agree that it was a very awesome quest.
Besides having all his viewers sending him frames, weapons, and boosters probably, I think learning the basics and building his arsenal would give him more community building and content. But that's just IMO
The other quests are just optional quests for obtaining other warframes. Patient Zero gives you Mesa, Hidden Messages gives you Mirage, Chains of Harrow gives you Harrow, etc. When Baro Ki'Teer comes around, you can buy the Sands of Inaros quest to get Inaros.

It also stops them from regrowing their arms.
If y'all wanna beat sentient style enemies use ash. Slash dmg that ignores dmg resistance, plus the status which also ignores dmg resistance. It ain't no instakill, mostly because I don't max out ash's dmg, but it's fast and relatively safe.
Slash doesn't ignore damage resistance, its proc does. Sentient fighters are immune to status effects.
Untrue!!! They can be blinded! However, blind lasts like a quarter of the time against them. I used to use Inaros against them all the time just for this, since he could blind them and take their hits. They are immune to blind however when in their cyclone attack.
Game explains lore and what to do.
"What's going on I'm confused! What do I do I don't understand!"
Christ dude
@@iceangelx22 it definitely does, it's just spread very thinly across many different facets of the game
@@iceangelx22 I'm not saying it's good, I'm just saying it's there
I'm triggered on how long it took him to kill the kuvas... And he got a Soma mod? Dang, rng-esus is with him
Someone has played to much destiny to be this un intuitive.... glad you started playing a game that can sharpen those dulled senses!
I see your fashion frame is improving :^)
I guess that's what you call it.
Soro or Fein "Fashion"
Soro or Fein i'm mastery 6, have not even half the weapons or frames, bought myself the first stage of the prime access. I just went full fashion frame. Don't do drugs kids
Androxus The Godslayer ONE OF US
What, he put Wukongs colors on his Operator and used default on rhino. How is that improving
Teshin: "The braids are vulnerable now. Destroy them!"
SU: "Okay so what am I supposed to do? I don't know what to do"
The amount of facepalms in this is too damn high
People need to stop telling you to remove that cyst. Without spoiling anything, it may be something you will want to have in the near future, and once it's gone from a frame, you (allegedly) can't get it on that frame again.
hooligan Actually the helminth charger is shit
Just get another frame there are several frames like rhino that are very easy to get another one of.
You can just build another Oberon or something and infect it.
I hurt myself facepalming after seeing you not know to destroy the braids as teshin just said "the braids power her shield, destroy them"
Anyone else get really angry because he didn't know what to do?
It’s not that he didn’t know, but that he was always acting as wrong as possible. I couldn’t watch the sacrifice one, after he inched along the orbiter to find the helmet, and then got to the investigation segment and started b-hopping all over the place, and not standing still. *He even said it was Witcher mode!* He know it was investigating time!!!
how much of a professional do you have to be to break the same mission twice
i dont know if anyone told you, but when you are fighting a sentient(those things on the second dream that kicked your ass) and when they becone immune to your damage, if you tap 5 and shoot the sentient with your operator beam, it will remove thier damage immunity, so you can deal normal amounts of damage to them
Ah nice- thanks for that :)
HOLY SHIT. That makes moon missions so much less annoying. Thanks brah.
Its funny that he failed to realize the tenno void meter is in the reticule. XD
He failed to realize nearly everything...
@@TimHisk he failed to realize “green gas cloud” when poison marker appeared on his screen after standing in the cloud
i have never been this frustrated, watching something i easily figured out myself, just use what you learned in the tutorials dammit.
+Me Notyou the value for money in this game is truly next level.
lol you warframe dudes really can't go one minute without trying to take a shot at destiny
Why can't people just like both games?
Soma Riven, Are for real!? First Riven Soma LUL
MR15 locked, because Riven Mods are something for those that mastered a lot of weapons, but want to keep their special favourite weapon. You are rushing through Warframes Content, so you are getting access to many things waaay to early. Sit back and relax, you have the whole game in front of you ;)
Good advice mate :)
Man loved the stream XD especially the chair and lamp part :))) anyway hope you will have fun on the quest :3
The chair and lamp are the real stars of the show.
Skill Up BTW I bet you did not lvled Tigris cause that weapon will just kill stuff..or you can farm for Tigris prime mastery 14
Chair
Lamp
CHAMP!

How are u completely breaking the game.... LOL
Thanks for making me discover this game :D
Glad you're enjoying it mate :)
Luca Francesca still enjoying it?
25:00 gave me the chills when I first played it.
OPERATOR CUT THE LINK
I don't know if you knew it, but Operative_Shift that helped you unlock the riven is Rob from A Gay Guy Plays
+Jacob Boyd I did :)
Skill Up not going to lie: I'm kinda jealous. I'm on PS4 but would love to play with you, Rob, DK and Brozime. That'd be amazing. Love the stream and the videos. Keep up the good work and welcome, again, to Warframe!
Jacob Boyd Wut bout Shy?
Julio Cesar I have yet to see Shy in action. She's more like a myth or legend to me rather than real life, but with how much DK talks about her I have a feeling I would enjoy playing Warframe with her too
Jacob Boyd DK sometimes plays on ps4
- Beware. The Ravenous Golden Maw!
- Why does it have to be ravenous?
*some seconds later* DED
Now we need to wait for The Sacrifice
Oh and I also sent you a friend request ;)
I have never seen someone fail that many times at running in a straight line
its interesting to see how he sometimes has no idea but the game shows and tells everything he has to do. just need to pay attention
+JAYA nice day cheers mate. Very kind :)
Thanks! Will be watching for future vids.
By how many face palms i did my hand is practically through my face. the amount of things you didn't see that where obvious is incredible. obviously the first time someone does the mission you wouldn't know what you're doing but at least look at the twitch chat which is screaming at you and trying to tell you how to do it.
But some things were *literally said out loud in game.* like for sacrifice:
Ordis: “use void blast!”
This guy: pulls operator back into Warframe and starts shooting it.
1:02:00 "Im out of juice, there need to be a recharge buff for my juice"
It's right at the center of your screen bruhhhhhhhhhh (insert ultimate facepalm GIF)

Yeah it reminded me of old school RoboTech / Macro Saga as well... - definately classic GUNDAM .
this is the reason they lock these quests behind a lot of hours, you had literally no idea wtf was goin on.
lucky rng, hilarious bugs, good story, and badass gameplay. Everything a game needs.
Your chat throughout this stream was so.....
Informative! :D
I was literally screaming at my monitor most of this video.
- You talk over the dialog and then have no idea what is going on.
- You don't pay attention when characters tell you how to defeat them and then fail miserably in parts i where i had no idea failure was an option
- and oh god so much cringe
Ever since your Warframe review I've fell in love with your content, not only Warframe vids but the reviews and even destiny content which has got me excited for destiny 2 :D hope you keep making videos!
These different time zones are killing me pal lol. Oh well theres always youtube highlights. Continue to have fun!
STREAM THEM ALL!
SnivicVS yeah, same goes to the other quest, all veteran have to wait for a long time before they finally release the quest
dont think he was complaining...?? He seemed impressed to me that that high quality of content still existed 150 hours into the game.
I really wasnt complaining. I was remarking how brave a decision it was for DE to hold that sort of content back, where most other developers would have dropped it in the first ten hours of the game (even after it was released many years into the life of the base game).
It's more like telling "Oh you're hundreds of hours in the game and you think you've seen everything? *throws TSD quest*" - DE, more than complaining
Meant no insult :D
I was just sharing with you some of the "bad" history with this games development.
I was waiting for it, Love your videos ;)
Last time I was this early Skill Up liked every comment.
Oh wait, im not even early.
You get a like anyway :)
Skill Up Thank you, kind sir.
I didnt know that. Thanks for the advice mate :)
Eh, crit is really not the meta anymore. It's all about status now.
except for the fact os has pisspoor disposition
lucky guy, my first Riven was for a Deth Machine Rifle...i just melted it immediately after
My first riven was for a deth machine rifle too :P
Early~ Love the highlights, i done this before and really forgot how awesome this is XD
Second Dream at 150hrs, TWW shortly after... Dude you're barely out of the tutorial phase and still have hundreds more to actually understand enough mechanics. Stop RUSHING! You're missing out on the excellent power growing RPG elements and skipping right into the endless grind. You can't even one shot level 15 enemies yet!
blackice11z RUclipsrs are like that, they get everything as gifts and don't have to farm. Mastery 8 he doesn't know anything about the game
BaggaFX that's normal really, have you seen TF2 RUclips videos?

hell yea! love your streams thanks for uploading!

Been waiting for this.
Thanks for the uploads. Hope you're enjoying the game.
:D
I didn't even know you could fail escaping the ship. Lmao
Love the videos was a pleasure to play with you today haha doing defence on Akkad (eris)
Ah awesome- thanks for the help mate :)
Imagine people play for 3 years, consuming every bit of lore and making so much speculation on WHAT the Tenno are, and Second Dream straight up showed you. And then War Within came after and expanded upon this weak shrimp child that you are.
"Soma huh, not very good"
"OH THE SOMA IS WHAT I'M USING"
Man, watching the videos of you playing induces such cringe!
Lotus: "Keep the ship between yourself and the beams."
You: *flies into one of the beams*
Listen to your space mom! Still fun to watch you though.
Well *rubs hands together diabolically* i've been waiting for this. That's my evening planned out :)
*started watching*

When did warframe become telltale?
Edit 1: Steam room of hell seems like a lot of fun :/
Edit 2: Nice journey refrence, twas a good game
Edit 3: Cant play warframe without bugs :)
Edit 4: T POSE MODEL FOR THE WIN!
Edit 5: This whole worm section reminds me of the antlion section in half life.
Edit 6: Parkour should be difficult if we do it regularly. Also is this heaven?
Edit 7: After this finishes, im gonna read all possibilities due to curiousity
TWW happened before winter last year, so at least, that long
Teshin: Is pribably the best explainer to ever exist
Skill up: WhAt Is HaPpEnInG
Is it just me or is skill up's problem solving skills and situational awareness a bit lacking?
A bit?
Keep up the good work! missed your stream sadly, but I bet it was awesome :)
1:01:26 , when you don't focus on the game and didn't heard what to do ...
Watching you at the end of the quest ... i just want to punch my self DX
I'm enjoying your perspective of this game, it's refreshing.
I'm only like 2 hours in and I already love this game
Human Shoe still enjoying it?
Part 2 of my input:
A lot of people have been complaining but all the operator powers using the same energy pool.
I cringed at the fact he is on war within and still didn't know where a Moas head is
During one of the Dev Streams they mentioned that it will be good to side with the light or the dark then going for a neutral decision as they are planning to add stuff to it in the future.
I dint even know you can fail the part where you escape your own ship. -_-
Besides having all his viewers sending him frames, weapons, and boosters probably, I think learning the basics and building his arsenal would give him more community building and content. But that's just IMO
Sometimes i find it ironic that ur name is “skill up” haha. Still great to watch though
That last one im interested in...if he think's Rhino's iron skin is tanky...
Dude PLEASE FFS MAX OUT THE HELIOS INVESIGATE MOD
I've been racing to complete War Within so I could come and watch your reaction. Thus game is so fucking good. Love ya dude.
