- I show why 2025 Honda CR-V Hybrid Sport L may be a better value than CR-V Hybrid Sport and Sport Touring. What do you think?
Thanks to Autopark Honda in Cary, NC for letting me film. Visit their inventory at www.autoparkhonda.com
I refuse to do a boring car review haha. I hope you like the channel and decide to Subscribe.
Jeff you had way too much fun making this video! I'll buy 3 of em!!😅
I actually did this time!!
My current Santa Fe was totalled after someone hit it on Christmas day. I can't wait to get this one....the only thing I hate is NJ dealers don't offer the fallen leaves package lol. Great video Jeff.
Your enthusiasm earned you another sub, good sir 😂
Hahahaha woohoooo thanks so much!
I wish both Toyota Rav and Honda had power folding mirrors
Yeah there are always certain options people wish were on vehicles.
Same!
You mean the single click rolling the windows down/up?
I bought the Sport L which I think gives a better ride than the Touring with its bigger wheels. If you want leather and hybrid, then Sport L is your first stop. Disappointed with 2 recalls and several cutbacks compared to Toyota. Fortunately, I could afford the $500 for the spare tire kit which is a must for many of us seniors who don't want to wait in the desert heat waiting for a tow truck to the dealer to fix a tire. Toyota never did away with theirs on any model. Didn't realize how much I'd miss a temp gauge but Honda cut that too. The gas engine goes on and off and takes awhile to warm up, but it takes several heater turn ons to determine when it's warm. Most of all, miss the Tire Pressure Monitoring system Honda used to have and Toyota uses...shows EACH tire's pressure. Now at age 78, I hate to have to go out and figure out which of the vehicle's tires is low...especially when it is very hot out. The new system just tells me one of my tires is low...saving money but irritating customers. I still give the CRV a 7.5/10 as I get 45 mpg in the winter; 37 in the summer with the A/C. Good video
The Touring has the bigger Wheels... it's 19 inch on the touring you're only getting 18 on the sport L
I tried to get my older sister, Maureen interested in this cool SUV, but she said her husband, Mark; has trouble getting into the seats.
I found it easy to get in and out of the CR-V, but everyone's different. I'm so glad you follow my channel!
@@AutoJeffReviews Always Jeff
@@AutoJeffReviews my brother-inlaw is almost 75 years old and uses a cane to walk.
I would focus on the Gas version because the Hybrid only comes with black wheels.
I just got this exact model and colour a month ago from this video.
Very satisfied, already put 900 miles on it :)
It better not catch fire
That's awesome glad you love it!
i have a 2022 crv love it
Does not having a spare tire cause any problems?
I have the 2024 Sport L, had to buy a $500 spare tire kit on Amazon as a sidewall blowout here makes the inflator they give you useless. No temp gauge which makes it hard to determine when to put heater on (may last CRV had one). My last CRV I leased (2020) had a Tire Pressure Monitoring System which showed each tire's pressure. Honda cut that out too, so now (at age 78) I have to go out and manually check each tire if I get a warning that a tire is low. Noticeable noise too when going from EV mode to engine but I get 45 mpg in the winter here in Las Vegas, and 37 in the summer with the A/C running. Plus Honda just cut out the complimentary service for 2 years; now it is one. In the future, I'd look at the upcoming 2026 RAV 4 as Toyota has kept all these cutbacks Honda made, including giving you a spare tire and kit.
Hey but seriously... is there no spare tire?
Yes, no spare in hybrid trims. Gas models have it.
One of my 3 major disappointments with my Sport L Hybrid. Had to pay $500 for a tire kit and stand it up in the back in front of the cargo cover mechanism. A sidewall blowout is common here in the desert and don't want to wait for towing, so got the spare kit. Of course, Toyota includes one in its RAV 4 and new 2025 Camry, as well as a temp gauge, Tire Pressure Monitoring System (each tire). Worse, the new Accord Hybrid has a SPACE for a spare under the floor, but cheapened out giving a spare as well as 2 complimentary service visits. The CRV works well enough; my wife and I are just disappointed in the cost-saving features they cut compared to our 2020 CRV. Strangely, in the Accord Hybrid, there IS a space for a spare tire under the cargo floor, but Honda cut that back too.
Is it better than the Santa Fe base model at a similar price?
Santa Fe is a midsize three row.
Totally different classes of vehicle. I might compare a Pilot to a Santa Fe.
Too many missing features on the US model. Plus, why is the hybrid version only available in murdered out trim? Pity.
3 different hybrid trims for 2025: Sport, Sport L, and Sport Touring!
What’s missing?
Toyota fanboy alert
@@AutoJeffReviews YES! And all blacked-out trims.
@@farawayskies Compared to the RAV 4, I found my Sport L is missing a lot that Honda use to give...spare tire kit (a necessity here, so that cost me $500), no more temp gauge, so with the on again/off again gas engine, I never know when the engine is warm enough to put the heater on. Now, I have to manually check tires as they took away the Tire Pressure Monitoring System which showed EACH tire's pressure. Plus did away with 1 of their complimentary maintenance visits for 2025 models. Will look at upcoming 2026 RAV 4. Even the new Camry didn't cut these items that Honda did.
How about the recall?
Have had 2 in one year...one for leaking fuel check (but they didn't find any), the other was for a worm gear fault in the steering which they replaced. (I have the 2024 CRV Sport L Hybrid)
6:23 haha loved it
Did you drive this car?
I want the crv interior and the rav4 exterior…….
a true "hybrid" lol
You are right. My CRV interior is high quality but I like the RAV 4 styling, as well as the fact Toyota didn't cut out a bunch of things like Honda (see my comments above)
What? When did you leave Toyota😮
Hi there! I still run both channels :) still at Toyota :)
Like honda crv, but more expensive now.
I sure wish vehicles went down in price from year to year, but pricing for this is reasonable vs others in its class
That was a great Scotty impression 😂😂😂
wow so glad you caught that hahahahah
No fog lights smh
RECALLS!!!
2025 models they would fix the recall before they sell.
Nope Sport Touring. More speakers and 19 inch rims. 18's look pedestrian. I love my Canyon River Blue 2024.
What is 18s look pedestrian?
37k and no spare 😮 so much for safety
I had vehicles with over 100,000 miles driven and never needed the spare just saying
@@angelolmeda5835 Here a spare is highly desired as sidewall blowouts leave you out in 115+ heat waiting for a tow, but yes, people can take their chances. I just bought a $500 kit, something Toyota buyers don't have to do.
Recalls galore and catches fire. No thanks
I think they fix the recalls on 2025 models before they sell.
Have had 2 recalls in 12 months on my 2024 CRV Sport L
This car doesn’t have garage opener
Ah those Volvo tailights are still intact. Big pass
Totally over black wheels!
Kind of agree with you. My 2024 Sport L CRV has them and they only look good when clean. They show the desert dust here alot.
Its nice. Rather go with a Mazda CX-50
It's a competitive class for sure!
It's very small compared to CRV.
Test drove the Mazda last week. The most UNCOMFORTABLE seats ever. Feels like a huge bump under the butt. Many complaints about this.
@@VioletBuddha meh. Disagree.
@@TOPBOSSJAMES Must be tons of padding on your butt 🤣
