Shout out for Alex! He's working so hard, but most of the time, nobody sees what's he's doing because he's below deck in the engine room. Without Alex, the boat couldn't function. So, cheers to Alex!👏🏻🔥
Best video ever. I loved seeing the inside operations, the outside operations, the provisioning, the behind the scenes. It is great to showcase the incredible detail in preparing the guest staterooms and all the guest amenities. Fun video that included a lot of the crew!
That is incredibly busy! Love the 2 deckies saying how they would clean interior 😊 Why don't you have a trash compacter? That seafood...... Homer Simpson drool 🤤 😄
I’ve never been on a charter but I appreciate the hard work you put in to make the boat look stunning and treat each guest as if they are the first guests on board.
Cheers Steve, video editing is top notch. Great insight into the whole crew and workload. I feel a little less envious of the salary and tips - wow, literally everyone works their socks off then helps someone else when they're done! Good leadership Captain and First Officer👌
One thing I enjoy on these videos - I doubt it's unique to Loon, but it's nice to see the captain getting stuck in with carrying provisions. It always makes a big difference when the boss is sharing in the grafting
I never thought i'd find watching a yacht crew doing what yall do interesting, i think the fact that you go against the grain of what most other yacht of your size do is both equal parts interesting and appreciated, with a touch of, i'll never be that rich
Absolutely epic watch from Loon… really great watch. So organised. I was impressed by the food quality of produce. The interior crew did awesome from beds to housekeeping. The chief engineer was brilliant good knowledge on the AC management. Very highly organised plus really enjoyed the epic drone shots from Steve…
One would have to be very impressed with Loon's teamwork. The commitment by the crew led by the Captain is nothing short of pure efficiency to achieve results with no wastage and accidents. Sometimes I wonder how crew members handle fussy guests who are easily irritated by the most insignificant "things" in their cabin surroundings, food and comfort etc.
The variety/complexity of this turnaround was amazing, by all. Production quality was through the roof! Your commitment to continuous improvement is blatantly obvious... kudos all around!!!
To all of the crew of MY Loon, as well as the outside folks supporting Loon, you're all needed and important! It was fun seeing even the garbage man enjoying the work! It's simply amazing seeing how all of you work together, helping each other, and turning Loon around in 24 hours. Wow! There's no time to fail, and you all succeeded!!!!! On one hand, I know it's all work. On the other hand, all of that is a thing of beauty watching it from out here! Bravo to all of you folks!!!!
I can see the food & beverage stuff is of very high quality, which will turn wonderful experience for the guest, I've heard on yatch chef doesn't have to bother about food cost much, which gives a free hand to chefs to give their best, Happy cooking Chef Dean
Go team. What an incredible amount of work to get ready, then you still have to be on your game for the next 7 days for the guests. You’ve an amazing group of people there.
What a class operation! Paul, you and your entire staff really stands out with their attention to all details. The provisioning for the galley is so interesting to see, sure wish I had those provisions delivered to my “galley”! Lucky charter guests will surely get the royal treatment in paradise! Bon Voyage.
Crazy busy! Just a small 40ft sailboat already takes easy half a day or more to do the handover to a new crew. Doing such a big vessel in 24 hours speaks for the crew and organisation.
Whoa the adrenaline is pumping reliving this turnaround from the video! Bravo Steve and the whole crew for all the laughs and teamwork amongst the chaos ❤️
Love the segment graphics. Exterior shots of the hull clean were beautiful ! Really fun video. Nice job Steve and crew so willing to showcase everything while you're also trying to get your jobs done.
Interesting video, before yachts, I Captained Small Coastal Cruise Ships. We used to turnaround a 100 passenger ship in about 6 hours from one group of guest departures to boarding new guests. Share that with your crew next time they tell you how stressed they are. 😅
*WE HAVE AIRBAGS TO FLIP THE YACHT* LOL J.K. Lot of hard work you all are doing. I'll *have* to try it someday just to see. Just experiencing doing what you all do. Would be an eye opener that it isn't all fun and games as some believe it to be.
Well presented and certainly gives a true insight to what goes on. Silly question, who decides on which guest goes into which cabin. Keep forgetting to ask a friend who has been head Stu and currently chief purser on private super yacht. Maungaturoto, New Zealand.
Those berries are just what I like also,,but you keep a lot more on hand,,fish looks good but the price is little too high,,100 euro piece for me ok..😅..very busy work getting ready for the next batch of people,,thanks for sharing..😊
When you are cleaning the ship, is that shore water or on board? And how much can the ship desalinate when not at shore? Is there a grey water system for cleaning? Thanks!
They partnered with another channel called @nautistyle just a few months ago for a full tour of every single room, storage, mechanical area of the boat including a great look at the engine room with all the details of how much water they can make and hold, how much gas they use, the computers that run everything, etc. If you search “nautistyle loon tour” it should pop right up. It’s fascinating!
Great vid, per usual. The editing and cinematography is getting better by the week. Experience is the best teach, right? Y'all earn yer pay, and tips, I'll give ya that :).
Steve’s really coming into his own. Edits on this were awesome
Excellent audio too. What microphones were used? 🎄
@@Jdvc-yd5txlooks like some sort of clip on DJI Mic. They sell a few versions with various features.
Shout out for Alex!
He's working so hard, but most of the time, nobody sees what's he's doing because he's below deck in the engine room.
Without Alex, the boat couldn't function.
So, cheers to Alex!👏🏻🔥
Loon is such a well-oiled machine with superb leadership and a happy, cohesive crew. As we used to say in my old Navy days, BRAVO ZULU.
Truly amazed with what happens in 24 hrs. Love how the crew helps each side to make it perfect for guests!! Cheers all!
Far more interesting than I thought it might be. The entire crew show incredible teamwork turning the yacht around. Very engaging.
Best video ever. I loved seeing the inside operations, the outside operations, the provisioning, the behind the scenes. It is great to showcase the incredible detail in preparing the guest staterooms and all the guest amenities. Fun video that included a lot of the crew!
I like the information that Dean provides I think he's a number one chef 👍👍
Proud mama here...I have to agree
The after effects "hull clean" was impressively well done. It didn't register that it wasn't actually on the boat for a while until I went back to it.
Steve is stepping up!! 🔝
Hello its me leone from the port of st ropes ❤
I thought it was actually written on the yacht :).
Glad to see so many South Africans on Motor Yacht Loon... Awesome experience thanks for sharing
Very interesting video!
And wow, that's a lot of work to do! 😮
If I ever get a yacht, I am going to definitely use the Loon as the gold standard for service.
That is incredibly busy! Love the 2 deckies saying how they would clean interior 😊
Why don't you have a trash compacter?
That seafood...... Homer Simpson drool 🤤 😄
All hands for the garbage truck, including Captain Paul. Very nice.
This was an excellent video. I really liked all the interviews and seeing other parts of the boat. Excellent videography
Wow, what a great post! Love the tension, love the full boat tour across all departments and voices.
I’ve never been on a charter but I appreciate the hard work you put in to make the boat look stunning and treat each guest as if they are the first guests on board.
Wow, amazing attention to detail with all that cleaning! Very nice to be able to see some more of the interior spaces and guest cabins.
Excellent Perspective! Having a 'Yellow Dog' coffee with homemade 5 star breakfast and watching this from NW of Austin. Thanks!
Wow! That’s a lot of buzzing! I do hope you don’t have too many back to back charters.
Motor Yacht Loon was served up this morning with episode 1 of the Atlantic crossing... Now watched a dozen or so episodes. Fascinating.
Cheers Steve, video editing is top notch. Great insight into the whole crew and workload. I feel a little less envious of the salary and tips - wow, literally everyone works their socks off then helps someone else when they're done! Good leadership Captain and First Officer👌

Love your work, love the content, can’t wait to see the MY Loon sustainability effort kick into gear across the departments.

I never considered the logistics of dealing with a whole charter’s worth of garbage.
Well you nailed it guys everything is ship sharp, Perfect 👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌
I love seeing the senior members pitching in and working hard also!!
Teamwork makes the dreamwork. Good job team LOON !!

Loving the detail in these videos.
I would like to see more of the maintenance stuff that the engineers do behind the scenes.
So much work to be done over the brief course of 24 hrs, great job Loon Team, I’m sure your new guests will really enjoy their adventure!
Great Job, Steve🎥 Beautiful Video🎞️
One of the best videos yet! So cool to showcase what we actually do between trips and tell the story 🤙🏻 good job team
Great content love to see all the behind-the-scenes preparations. Go team.

The provisioning for the galley is so interesting to see, sure wish I had those provisions delivered to my “galley”! Lucky charter guests will surely get the royal treatment in paradise! Bon Voyage.
Taking the time to “face” all the products in the guest fridges…. An extra level of care on Loon!

Whoa the adrenaline is pumping reliving this turnaround from the video! Bravo Steve and the whole crew for all the laughs and teamwork amongst the chaos ❤️
What an awesome episode, one of the best so far!

When "all hands on deck" becomes literal!
Every super yacht owner should watch this video.

It occurs to me that this is the Downton Abbey of the 21st Century.
Perfect analogy!
I’ve seen you guys in St Tropez. Boat looks amazing keep it up 💪💪
That, was a well done video. New social media dude doing ok.
Interesting video, before yachts, I Captained Small Coastal Cruise Ships. We used to turnaround a 100 passenger ship in about 6 hours from one group of guest departures to boarding new guests. Share that with your crew next time they tell you how stressed they are. 😅

I see the boat has been put up for sale. Are we going to see even bigger and more exciting videos on a new larger Loon?
