I think this is the perfect fix for what they wanted and said on stream. that they didn't want to lock items behind huge prices.
this update is a HUGE factor to accessibility for bossing, people learn ,by easily visual techniques, friends of mine who never bossed got it after a few hours, everything about this is wonderful.
even the low prices t95's i sold mine second day for 625m for the offhand and wasn't even bother thought it was good. i would call this the second next best update of the year together with necromancy for game accessibility. i hope they keep this trent, it looks a bit like OSRS coliseum but that doesn't matter, take the best of both games.
i would hope they add some extreme raid like aod but on extreme difficulty to do with groups that would drop an extreme rare do if everything is easily accessible, icon items are always required in games, look at tbow for ex, so raids now is a good direction, but they need to buff the mechanics from bosses or make it scalable.
but we are going the right direction, feedback on this update has been wonderful, so i guess we will see more of this.
T95s coming from NM is crazy imo.
They can be common but they should be HM exclusive. Me and my team got 3 weapons in 2 kills (NM)
@@ducksquidbat8315 I'm pretty sure that's the point. For years now getting past t90 in RS3 requires you to either buy dozens upon dozens of bonds, or grind the highest possible PvM you can whether you like it or not and hope for a 1b gp drop. A lot of people don't realize its a problem because they've been PvMing on release for a decade and so just have billions upon billions of gold lying around. Some of my clanmates bought EVERY item from Sanctum within the first hour without even actually touching it. The PvM community is also prone to hypetraining, as seen by the fact that Praesul t92 magic weapons are now worth less than 25% of what they used to be solely because of a weapon 3 tiers higher.
Jagex actually wants players that aren't endgame min/max PvMers to experience the bosses, probably because of how gatekeepy fights like Vorago, Solak, Raids, etc have historically been.

@@dlittle9556removal of duel arena is the reason things are so expensive, back then the wealthiest in game stockpiled gp to stake with. After arena was removed all that excess gp went into economy bc there was nothing else to do with it so they dumped in rares and other merches..
The t95's are fun to use. I also bought a bunch of high tier magic gear like fsoa, army battlestaff, elite tect, ect. I wish i would've known about the obliteration staff to make some profit
I sold 2 obliterations , 100M and 150M , bought them for 3M each :)

Also the margins on that prayer book was insane has people buying for 51m paying them 53m selling for 70m probably sold over 120 prayer codexs that way.
That new prayer seems weird for me, now with the gunpowder and how is it easy to collect bones with the undergound grimoir you can just jump to level 95 prayer
So is the FSOA an eof spec weapon now? I just got my 3 FSOA piece from Kerapac and it would be a shame to eof it soon after.
It is atm but don't eof it. You EOF and just hving it as a weapon is the same thing. You will still want gstaff and arma bstaff eofs. So it would still be a switch.
But they also mentioned a fsoa passive, so hopefully that comes at some point :)

You can get them from normal mode and can brute force it so I think there only going down from here man lol it's gonna be about that upgrade token from hm
@@dbop3737 tbh the token doesn’t do a whole lot in real game play. Very marginal difference which I was shocked about when I got it. I think the weps overall are awesome and wish they would be priced accordingly

i understand why people like the items being common (3:35) but imo its not a good thing for the longevity of the game, these big items are supposed to be the best things in the game for people to work towards but if the game just hand to you, then what are you going to work towards? its much like necro vs something like melee, where melee is cheap smithable armour/weapons > bandos/dhl > masterwork/drygores > tmw/zgs/soa > vestments/lengs. theres a huge variety of items and a diverse progression for people to work on, whereas necro was just "oh you want free t90 gear? sure!" it removes the purpose of the game in my opinion. anyway, rant over, awesome vid!
You are right tbh, but I also feel like having the weapons accessible but keeping the tier upgrade as a hard thing to get is kind of a good balance?
I do agree though, the main grind and enjoyment of the game from my side was getting my gear and upgrading along the way.

As someone with Khopeshes, Hexhunter bow and Staff of Sliske rotting in the bank, don't do it.
The new wand and orb are already down to 500m and it's been 2.5 days since release.

This seems like lazy content. Litereally, anyone can look at the market and see this. I used to really enjoy how you shared things but lately its just been trash, like anyone can read the new update, anyone can look up prices. Idk i guess keep making your money with this but unfollowing
It's crazy that we're in a world where people are saying that t95s being easier to get than t85s is a good thing? Jagex have ruined all sense of account progression and are slowly ruining the game. The bosses are incredibly fun. They feel unrewarding.
I think the T95 weapons drop too often. Yes it is accessible but grinding for your first T95's is part of the fun. Whats the point of ever going for T80's or T90's again?
I would argue that having more access to gear is good for everyone. They can do more bosses that more people can play instead of the super small minority it was before. Also, they have T95 upgrades to T100 in hard mode exclusively. Think they said they want t95s to be around for a long time or be legendary weapons. Adding enchantment like effects is a good way of doing that. What do you mean by going for T80's or T90's again?
@@zeldapro18 What I meant with T80's orT T90'.s is If i make a new account why should I go put some effort in getting T90's weapons? Why not just do necromancy train it afk, get T90's that are 10m each then get do some bosses and be full best in slot within 1 month?
I got 2x full drop table of Rasial afk in 3 weeks. that is not right...
@@aero1000Are you talking alt account or new player? I'd think a new player would want to explore the game and it's combat. I assume it's a month with either an existing player or an alt with vast knowledge of the game. As a 16 year player I find Necromancy boring to an extent but it is easier. I do still use it and have BiS. Haven't seen any testing but I like that the weapons aren't necessarily the key drops and it's the t95 upgrades that are in hard mode. I see what you're saying about the weapons though but in the future you could see upgrades for them.
Actually, I don't think that you should talk about ge prices; it is buying and selling art, and talking about what should be and not shouldn't be, nothing will change... Don't try to change prices with RUclips videos...
I'm not trying to change them, I couldn't care less about the prices tbh. But I find it interesting of a topic and so do many others. These videos always do well so that is why I make them :)
If magic is "back", and at a reasonable price at that, then I might come back to the game.
As someone who only mages. It was never gone. Just not the best dps or easiest lol but I mean plenty viable at every boss. Even been doing raksha pool skips with it learning raksha. And that is pre these weapons.
But they are really strong and if you don't have fsoa you can do a non crit equilibrium run for really good dmg
When any styles is "back" it would never be a reasonable price. It's basic economy.
magic was never gone it just required effort in using it instead of spamming abs braindead

@ducksquidbat8315 absolutely I'd say. Specially for short fights. That spec carries and it let's you use meta if you want or sunshine. And gives you something to do while ults on cd. I actually swapped my staff into a caroming /as4 instead of p6 to just have more utility. But that's a point for 4taa being less necessary. But also gsonic is a nice buff for new spec so gives it a nice use too
