Try wrapping your cord in a 8 pattern on the Dyson. It won’t touch the bristles on the wand attachment that way. I did something stupid recently. I washed my top filter on my dyson and left it out to dry. I forgot to put it back in when I used it the following week. I cleaned my entire house before I realized what iv done. I’m afraid I ran a lot of dust through the motor. The bottom HEPA filter is only filtering air after it travels through the motor filtering the air before being released out of the vacuum right? So the only thing that was filtering the air before goin to the motor was the mesh screen inside the dust canister when I used it. I’ve used the vacuum multiple times since and seems fine but was wondering about your thoughts since your the vacuum guru. Am I right about how the air travels through the machine? 1st the dust canister. Then through the mesh screen before reaching the top filter. Then traveling through the motor before being released out the HEPA bottom filter? So without counting the mesh screen in the canister the top filter is the only thing preventing small particulates from entering the motor?
Great review! The Dyson beats the Shark almost every time with the only issues being the suction being too strong and a few areas that could break. I HATED THE STRATOS, LIKE IT IS SO BAD IT IS EMBARRASSING FOR A NEARLY $500 MACHINE! The Shark seems more like something that should be on the shelf at Big Lots for $99.
The disconnect between “professionals” and customers is crazy. The pros want bagged and customers generally have no interest in them. It’s like the EV push. Bagless is so much simpler
Very useful information, I was curious to know what the differences between the Shark and Dyson vacuum until I found this video. I can finally understand what the differences are I like the LED headlights on the Shark and i can understand why you can’t wash one of the filters on the vacuum because it can potentially deteriorate.
I have all laminate flooring do you still recommend animal 3 extra? I love all your videos thanks for all your hard work. Or which Dyson would you recommend for me?
I had Dyson DC40 MKII what had much more aggressive brushroll than the original DC40. Filtration was extremely good. Great agitation. It very rarely needed pre motor filter washing, but one thing to remember is that those cyclones can get clogged if even slightly moist dirt is being picked up. Common sense, but average consumer might abuse the vacuum. What it comes to Sharks I have only NV340 and NV500 (NV501) Rotator Professional Lift-Away. Dirt being leaked to the motor is indeed a problem. Those pre motor filters are poor and with simple cyclone causes dirt to leak to the motor. One thing what I really like about it is the cleaning performance. It's old model with very stiff brushes and great agitation. It's sad how Shark now has that weird and weak brushroll.
That’s amazing that you’re getting a new shark vacuum. I’ve never heard of this new machine that you mentioned in this video that you just did. I wonder what this thing is going to be like when I hear videos of this new machine
Hey bro I have a question about my Dyson vacuum cleaner since it’s my first time owning one but I got it at a yard sale so later we test it out see if it works so yes it does but it has a burn smell I don’t know where is it coming from that’s the only issue I have
I will say, as a shake and Dyson user for a many years, shark can angle much sharper when I need it to. My upright Dyson animal 3 I find I have to do some back and forth when turning sharp corners because it can’t make that same turn. It’s preference I suppose😅

What model is it? If you take off the bin there'll be a white sticker on the spine. What does it say next to "model"
@@IntellitechStudios ok bro I’ll check on it tomorrow
