- In this series I will be Grading Video Games that I have played. These are just my opinions and how I feel about the games I've played. Don't take this super serious, I'm a nobody just somebody who likes to play video games and watch movies and then give them a grade. If you do get offended or hurt about how I graded something.... I don't care, good for you lol.
This is how I am grading Video Games
Each category is out of 20 points and the last two are out of 10 for a total of 100 points.
Gameplay: 20
* Mechanics: Evaluate the controls, responsiveness, and overall feel of the game. Are the controls intuitive? Do they enhance or hinder the gaming experience?
* Game Flow: Assess the pacing, level design, and progression. Is the game engaging throughout, or does it suffer from pacing issues?
Graphics & Art Style: 20
* Visuals: Examine the quality of graphics, animations, and overall visual fidelity. Does the art style complement the games theme and narrative?
* Performance: Consider the games performance, including frame rate, resolution, and any technical issues.
Story and Narrative: 20
* Plot: Evaluate the storyline, character development, and world-building. Is the narrative compelling, and do the characters resonate with players?
* Dialogues: Assess the quality of dialogues and voice acting. Are they immersive and contribute to the overall storytelling?
Audio: 20
* Soundtrack: Evaluate the music and sound effects. Does the audio enhance the gaming experience and fit the mood of the game?
* Voice Acting: If applicable, assess the quality of voice acting. Does it bring characters to life or detract from the immersion?
Re-playability and Longevity: 10
* Replay Value: Evaluate whether the game encourages re-playability through different paths, choices, or additional challenges.
Innovation and Originality: 10
* Uniqueness: Consider wether the game brings something new to the table. Does it innovate within its genre, or does it rely heavily on established conventions?
