I just beat vampyr a few days ago and only 10 more hours I'll be able to play banishers. I have been excited for this game for a while. I hope everyone enjoys it. Thanks for this review 😊
9 years after Life is Strange and most, if not all, Don’t Nod games are still about the same theme: “Do I sacrifice everyone around me for my own selfish reasons?”. I still love most of their games, but maybe it’s time to try something different.
These guys kinda have a formula and kinda get some things like combat and graphics to a 'meh' level often, but their storytelling, characters, world-building and voice acting are so stellar that it doesn't really matter, and the games still end up sticking with you long after you beat them.
More like a page straight out of Vampyr in terms of choices. Do I give into my constant need for blood and risk the hospital status? Or do I heal this resident and gather more information?
I like the game but too much dialogue it tends to be a bit boring so far and the missions seem to be a bit short, I would like to see more action and fighting that’s the best part of the game maybe more weapons there something missing but I’ll progress it further see how it goes. I give it a 7
Without spoiling is there a decent amount of enemies or is it just ghosts, people, and wolves? Everybody reviewing this just says the same things im trying to see what this game will be like but they just regurgitate the same things
@@georgiosnikolettos2789 You preordered it six months ago? On disc? I have like 45 minutes to wait. Gonna play an hour and then go to bed. Hope you like it if you've been waiting that long!
Playing it now. Regret buying it. So ridiculously boring. Fighting is horrible and you basically walk from one place to the other with one small fight portion with the focus on cutscenes. Investigative work is laid out completely for you, you don’t even have to read anything it gives you the whole story when you confront the people at the end anyways.
@@LuisMedrano-j9qHad same exp. If you go for revive option you gonna be doing a shit ton of haunting quests to get it. I recommend going for the other ending and wait for sale
I love it when people are honest. People need to be more honest about Dragon Dogma 2 when it comes to it's quest design and story as well. Both were awful lol
Any advice whether I should try this game. It sounds cool but the problem is, it looks very much like Witcher 3, which I deeply hate. The story and the idea look amazing to me. However, if the combat is like Witcher 3, where the character dances here and there and the camera keeps rotating, I don't think I can stand it.
It reminds me of the witcher with everything besides the combat..I really hated the witchers combat..this is definitely better imo..feels more like the new god of war games..it's not going to blow you away tho
A story can make an okay game absolutely amazing or even a game with terrible gameplay worth playing. Video games are probably one of the best ways to tell a story as the player gets to experience it and it is personal to them.

Vampyr is so much better tbh.
Vampyr is the closest thing we have to a Morbius game
Have a couple days left until payday. Definitely picking this up
Straight up been talking about this game for a few weeks now and am looking forward to it
Dont Nod being one of my fav studio ,because of their signature chill story driven games, cant wait to play this
This game suprised me .its amazing
Remember Me was also them, yeah? Wonder how it compares to this.

The abbreviation for this game is B:GONE pretty sure the devs did that on purpose lol.

Just added this to my wishlist.

Watching an IGN review is like buying an apple product. You know its popular but is it really any good?
Best analogy I've seen for IGN.
"Hyper-polished AAA blockbuster". Do we even get those anymore?
GOW, Ghost of Tsushima, LOU, and I personally put FF16 in the mix as well. I'm sure there are many that would disagree with that pick though.
@@mikeh1186FF16 is amazing! My game of the year for 2023.
I actually played Vampyr and i liked it very much!
I hope they do a sequel at some point
Fun game! But I do understand why people didn't like it. I thought the story and side-missions were decent personally.
i get 'Detroit Become Human: Action Edition' vibes from this game
why nobody compare this game to god of war?
Yup
Feels like a stolen homework game sometimes in exploration especially

It’s very good. Up there with Alan wake 2
The problem is that this game costs 50€, while Witcher 3 costs 30€...
I preordered this one, talked myself into it. Third review I've seen, two 7s and an 8.
you did the right decision in pre ordering it. it is a great game i posted it on my channel. just completed the game today its 10+ hours long game
@@aimusic858 Well I'm glad you liked it, hope I do as well.
I preordered before six months. One more day to wait

This game will be good no doubt
Just played the demo....the camera and movement are bonkers bad.

How do you feel about it now? I was gonna buy it last night but the full price is what is like…meh. I ended up buying a dope horror game instead lol.

Thought I was the only one that hated Witcher’s combat, otherwise the game is great, but the combat just pisses me off
Don't wait on this one. Single player gaming at its best!
Arthur Morgan in another dimension
I know its an 8 as usual before I even watch the review
looks good, loved vampyr
Yo
it look likes god of war ragnarok
This game looks fucking horrible hahaha.. what is this? Boring Souls: Prepare to Uninstall Immediately Edition?
This game looks like hot garbage to me.
Banishers Ghosts of New Eden - is WOKE trash.
How?
This game is trash.
Who caees about a story? We play video games to PLAY. Read a book if you want a atory.
Thats a dumb take. If you just want action go play sports.
