I get lessons on one of them, its very comfortable, easy to handle and well balanced. I really recommend people getting this bike. If i get the cash, I will :)
It is not clear, the capscity gap just doesn't make sence, they have a 125 and a 300 cc single and puny engines and above that only the four cylinder 1,000 cc engine. Where is the 500 and 650 cc twin cylinder versions ? The design is way cool to waste it on small capacity bikes only as the amount of 1,000 cc bikes that will be sold won't be the bread and butter for Honda ...
May have to do with the upcoming Euro 5 standards on the horizon, I hear they're going to kill the 600cc market. But I do agree wheres the 500, it's a massive jump from 300 to a 1000cc machine.
To me the CBR always looked like a bicycle with some extras...and it still does. I love my Yamaha YZF R125 and i still think that's the best looking 125ccm
Problem with the yzf for me is its seating position. Not sure if its because im 193cmtall or what, but it hurts my back. Cbf125 is a trash bike but the seating position is perfect. No pain ever. Almost bought a cbr125r but after a 10 min test ride, my back and wrists were aching. I feel like the cb125r is best in class. 1.8hp less but about18kg lighter than competition, so acceleration should be slightly better. Plus as i mentioned above, the seating position is important and i think it is somwhere between the cbf and the cbr. To me it sounds comfy.
I'm looking at getting a new 125 bike, this is on my options list, but I'm having a hard time deciding, the new GSX-S 125 seems pretty awesome too. Aside from personal looks, any major spec differences that stand out?
Just go and take 'em out for a ride. Last summer I've driven the Duke, MT125 and Tuono. I've found the latter the most enjoyable. Didn't like the Duke's handling characteristics much, but the display is awesome. MT125 was suffering from the wind quite a bit, but everything ran very nicely otherwise. The Tuono was really my cup of tea, but it lacked a bit of punch. Then I waited for the GSX-R125 and was able to try it first hand. It's an amazing piece of kit! Will be getting one.
Just wondering if they will make this design at around the 500-700cc?? I mean they got the 125, 300 then 1000cc area why not make something around the 500-700cc? Any rumors that they might produce along those displacements?
i sat on one of these at a dealer and after the handle bars it felt like there was nothing there, the bike just had a cliff face and nothing existed past the handle bars. it was strange and felt like it should have been longer than it was.
Hello boss! Nice review of this bike! I just got mine recently here in Japan. I am looking for an English owners manual for this bike but can’t find anywhere...can you help me please? Anyone? Thanks a lot!
As I understand it learners in the US can ride almost anything, well at least something bigger than a 125. If I'd been allowed a 250 or 300cc learner bike in the UK , there is no way I'd have bought a 125. In my opinion 125s are too under powered, even for learners. If I've got the learner restrictions or lack of them correct in the USA , I can't see anyone selling many 125s there.
I personally am planning to stick to 125cc bikes since i live in london and theyre the most logical fun and cost effective ways of getting around. However I'm sick and tired of riding 125s with bare bone specs. Been waiting for a premium 125 to hit the market with a lot of the features of bigger bikes but with the smaller displacement. Honestly this bike hits the nail on the head. Normally id buy used but the idea of someone fucking up my honda by not breaking it in properly worries me. The fact that most 125cc riders are young, and youngsters love to rev, is problematic. The one downside of used 125s is the damage inexperienced riders do. I save maximum 1250 but the bike come with possible issues. Or 1250 more and i get a bike almost guaranteed to be without fault
I had one of these as my learner bike, I'm 5'11" (1.8M) tall, I found it just about perfect. I could flat foot easily, which is the most important thing for learners and even experienced riders . I guess someone around 5'7" (1.7M) might find it a bit too high. (I've posted this a main comment because a lot of people are asking maximum speed )
Yeah! Like the facelifted CBR150R the Asian regions already have! autodaily.vn/2016/07/can-canh-honda-cbr150r-2016-phien-ban-repsol-tai-ha-noi/ That looks sooo brutal and aggressive! Why can't we have something like it over here?
DAVE SYKES I've brought one aswell only ridden a shit Kawasaki on my cbt on this I can't control the throttle it's either on or off I've got one in white with glitter shining looks mint.
Dinesh Pal build quality and components used are costly and if company themselves manufacture it in india.. It will cost around 1.5 lakh approx so no one gonna pay 1.5 lakh for a 125cc so it will be a big loss for the company.. And if they import it then it will cost around 2 lakhs.. No one gonna buy.. 😥
I respect that these countries are big buyers of these bikes, but i think there aiming 125’s especially at european teenagers now especially ones in the uk, due to ridiculous insurance prices on cars alot of 17 year old brits are riding 125’s on a cbt because its a fraction of the price, also look st the styles, colours, and just whole demenour of the bike not to mention the high end price tag now, it is deffinatley meant for lane splitting on a commute to work in a city not a dirt road in delhi, so please stop think every 125 is made with only Indian and Bangladeshi people etc. In mind as it deffinatley is no longer the case
I think Honda won't release this bike in India 'cuz this bike is very costly compared to the other crappy 125 cc bikes like shine, discover,etc.. Most of the indians think Power of a bike is in its displacement (cc) so no one will buy this. CBR 250RR also won't launch in India due to these reasons. Sorry for my bad English...😋
True but youd need a licence. Plus itd cost 75% more in fuel. And about 25% more for insurance. Licence cost roughly 800 quid, addmitedly a one off but still. I live in london, why would i pay 800 to get alicence only to end up paying more in insurance and fuel. But gaining no benefit from performance. If i aimed to ride on motorways then maybe a bigger bike would make sense. Atm i only pay 430 per year for insurance and about 250 per year in petrol. The only benefit to me owning a bigger bike is to show off to my biker friends. But i garuntee they wouldn't care. They all ride £10k++ bikes, maybe my gf would think i was cooler, but in reality she doesn't give a crap if u drive a bmw or a lexomoto. My main point is that buying a bigger bike while living and riding in a city doesn't make logical sense, unless its done separate from logic, just out of pure passion. Which is totally okay, but can't be justified by logical reasoning.
Di Indo masukin yg gini boss, jgn kek yg kemaren hadehhhh....fitur kasi LED ABS ama Hazard udh tergila2 biar kata mesin 125 gini....harga under 25jt,,,, tutup mata auto beli dah
Jesus it's CB125R not CBR125 there is a diffrence,if you type just cb125 you'll see that it's a completly diffrent bike,r version is this, new line of the bike!
I never got 80 MPH out of this bike . I got a top speed of something like 68MPH. ( I didn't try that many times, and I didn't lay flat on the tank, and I'm a bit heavy at 90Kg)
Honda will never get these bikes in India because unka profit kam hoga joh seh nahi sakte toh profit badhane ke liye third class parts aur major changes karenge jisse riders ko dikkat hogi!
Best looking 125 I've seen to date
alwyn McMath AUTO-DIDACT KTM DUKE 125
Anteater23 this one looks better
Yamaha mt 125 is the only one that I would say looks better
Edit: ok i wouldn't even say it looks better, it just comes close :D
Duke 125 looks better imo, this one is a 2nd place contender
alwyn McMath AUTO-DIDACT yeah 🔥🔥
Got mine today... im in love with it
what colour?
Really looks like a solid bike. Just might be the first one I go for if I end up buying new
I get lessons on one of them, its very comfortable, easy to handle and well balanced. I really recommend people getting this bike. If i get the cash, I will :)
I'm driving a Yamaha Mt-125 and think that this also look cool :)
I would have loved that as a teenager
Jay B im loving it as a teenager great for new riders and urban trafic
A comparison vs the 2018 CB125F?
The best looking bike from any manufacturer in this class
It is not clear, the capscity gap just doesn't make sence, they have a 125 and a 300 cc single and puny engines and above that only the four cylinder 1,000 cc engine. Depending on where you live, there are cb400, 500 and 600s.
debrisbit I meant a CB500R and CB650R with that NEO CAFE style and design.
Hmm. Fair point. It's a delightful looking bike. But the updated cbs arent that far off with the led headlamps too!
May have to do with the upcoming Euro 5 standards on the horizon, I hear they're going to kill the 600cc market. But I do agree wheres the 500, it's a massive jump from 300 to a 1000cc machine.
ניר כהן dont buy F versions then
are the lights enough for a night ride in a highway that does not have lamps?
Honda grom sales did so well they made a bigger version!
To me the CBR always looked like a bicycle with some extras...and it still does. I love my Yamaha YZF R125 and i still think that's the best looking 125ccm
Melina aprilia rs4 125
Yzf is the the civic of the car world, always has a black widow pipe and covered in monster stickers
Problem with the yzf for me is its seating position. Not sure if its because im 193cmtall or what, but it hurts my back.

Cbf 650 or cbr 500
Which colour you think looks the best?
What's the name of the music in the beginning?
TIA
i sat on one of these at a dealer and after the handle bars it felt like there was nothing there, the bike just had a cliff face and nothing existed past the handle bars. it was strange and felt like it should have been longer than it was.
Will this get released in North America? We just have the Grom, Z125, and kymco kpipe
When will it be available in the Philippines?
Is it launched in india ?
Can you take off the rear mudguard?
Hello boss! Nice review of this bike! I just got mine recently here in Japan. I am looking for an English owners manual for this bike but can’t find anywhere...can you help me please? Anyone?
Thanks a lot!
I really like 125s; ideal for commuting, but is this bike worth £1000 more than the older CB125F?
XVS650 yea
You might want to sort the typo out in the title
I have a same bike Matt black ..believe me I have pushed top speed 88 mph .. awesome bike ❣️
I have seen these advertised with an automatic transmission, does anyone know if it comes like this?
what is the europe price?
Is it automatic?
Will this be for sale in America?? Because the CB-R was not sold in the u.s.

How to India launch date
Milege
Looks like a typical Honda, thought through design and good bike.
The seat's a bit high at 816 mm though, especially for new riders.
I had one of these as my learner bike, I'm 5'11" (1.8M) tall, I found it just about perfect. I could flat foot easily, which is the most important thing for learners and even experienced riders .

(I've posted this a main comment because a lot of people are asking maximum speed )
why not start importing the cg125 back in to the UK rather than these toys
probably Euro 4 emission laws prevent this.
Is it possible to import to India
But look wise it is unique comprasion to all indian bike
Price sir...
Why does it look better than th cb150 and cb300?
My favorite is Honda CBR125R 2008.
I am 5.4 can i drive dis bike.
Why this bike is not in pakistan i want to buy
hopefully a new cbr 125r after this
Yeah! Like the facelifted CBR150R the Asian regions already have!

Yeah this bike is the coolest 125 there is but the power is kind of messing me
Idk but I just dont like the round headlight. It doesnt fit well with the body's futuristic design.. I'd prefer the Yamaha TFX instead.
Launch in Philippines.
Great looking 125
Anyone know if they got usb?
it has no usb but still a great bike i got one
DAVE SYKES I've brought one aswell only ridden a shit Kawasaki on my cbt on this I can't control the throttle it's either on or off I've got one in white with glitter shining looks mint.

No
How much in india ?
90000Rs.
No will buy it in india coz of cost around near 4 lac😁 for 125 cc only
ADITYA CHATTERJEE agreed
why is it so costly
Dinesh Pal build quality and components used are costly and if company themselves manufacture it in india.. the price is too high.
Kirby latham actually a pretty good price for a bike that looks so good and has ABS
Masuk indonesia kisaran harga berapa ya..??

je veux trop cette moto😍😍
We need it very badly in india.
I can buy 200cc ns which gives more then 23bhp in less then half of this bike price

stealing music from FortNine now are we?
Oso 11 All the music we use is either licenced from premiumbeat or from you tube's own library. Other people can use the same music too.
Nice
Indians be like "mofo honda"
Looks a lot like the yamaha mt125
Head light design not good.....
Stick a twin cylinder 2 stroke in it
If only Euro 4 emission laws allowed that !
“Bigger and better” bikes?…
Di Indo masukin yg gini boss, jgn kek yg kemaren hadehhhh....fitur kasi LED ABS ama Hazard udh tergila2 biar kata mesin 125 gini....harga under 25jt,,,, tutup mata auto beli dah
Looks very much like the yam Mt125 I don't like the front light on the Honda, like they couldn't be bothered,
4000£ for a 125cc bike ? wtf
AHM should bring this one to INA with 200cc and a name of Tiger
This is CB dude not CBR
Rahmat Dwi CB125R 🙄

125cc. Too slow for that cool design. My scooter can run faster.
Jed Taneo my scooter is 125cc
😂
Jed Taneo Thing is, it still looks like a bike. No matter what you do, you will still be riding a scooter. Lol
Riding a scooter is like humping a fat girl - fun to ride until your friends find out!
All 125s are SLOW !
Yeh hamaray pakistan main itni chutyapay ki honda 125 kyun ati hain...??? :/
Đẹp hơn CB150r luôn 😆😆
Jacqueline jata to achcha hota
