    I have a lexmoto lxr 125 euro 5. Its a lot of fun but that may just be because its my first bike lol. I have no complaints and i do admit if i had a bigger budget then a yamaha yzfr125 or a cbr125 because i just prefer a sportier bike being a taller and lighter guy. Hate my L plates because the bike looks massive without them but I'll get them off over summer when getting my full license. Also wanting to move up to a r3 (to become a certified speedy small cc rider lol) in two years or so, pretty much my dream bike now and not too unrealistic. Jealous of the roads you have there, northern ireland is great for costal roads but havent had a chance to get out on them yet :/

    • @pudmoto
      @pudmoto  Год назад +1

      Yeah I've heard lexmoto is a pretty good alternative to some of the other 125cc bikes. Definitely find that most 125cc are just brilliant fun because you can pretty much use all of the power available and flick it about like crazy haha. Yeah I hated my L plates too!!! R3 is certainly a cracking option for being a smaller cc speedy boi 🤣🤣

    Still think the best 125 Honda makes is the Varedero but the price of them nowadays would be ridiculous, I bought on in 2006 and cost then £3500 don’t know what they cost today but I should imagine they are pretty pricey that’s if they still make them. The V twin engine is far more superior and would cruise along at sixty and I had a top speed out of it at 85mph, the fuel tank would also hold 17 litres so great for them long runs. I would probably still have it today if it wasn’t for it being stolen, it was recovered but the damage they caused was so bad the insurance company just writ it off because it would of been too expensive to repair. It was my first brand new bike and even today I’m gutted I loved everything about that bike and never once let me down, I have the Suzuki GSXR as of now but if I could find the right Varedero out there for a decent price I would get another.

    • @pudmoto
      @pudmoto  Год назад

      Oh wow I've never actually heard of the Varedero but just had a nosey and it doesn't even look like a 125! Can certainly tell that's its got a much bigger fuel tank and the engine helps it look bigger than other 125s. Such a shame that you experience with you old one had to be screwed but thieves mate, really does suck! Definitely a goal to try get one again though, especially if you loved it as much as you say! I'm intrigued now I'm going to have a look at some Varedero vids 🤣🤣

      @@pudmoto most people know it as the XL125 and not the Varadero that’s probably why you haven’t heard of it, I can tell this if you get the chance to ride one you will fall in love with it straight away it’s a bit heavier than all the other 125s but for me that gave it a better feel on the road. Hope you get the chance to ride one and get your take on it I’m sure you won’t be disappointed 👍.

      I used to have a YBR 125 in 2011.
      There was this long steep hill and I slowed to about 50mph going up it. I could hit over 80 down it
      I used to sometimes see this lad on a Varadero and he always overtook me on the commute and used to go up that hill a lot quicker than me.
      Was always jealous 😀 but they did cost a fair bit more.
      Think I paid £1700 new for the Yamaha
