I live in Clearwater. About 23 years ago I was riding up 19 and there was a 12 foot gator laying in a wet spot in the median. One thing Wicks didn’t tell y’all is when gators want to go really fast they gallop. There were 4 cop cars there and the gator decided to run. He galloped across the road right in front of me. Floridaing at its finest.

We've had 1 gator in 10 years in our lake. We had it removed. I've been to Gatorland 1000s of them. And they put on shows. Like putting a whole dead chicken on a string waaay above and the gator jumps up and grabs it. That's when I first got to Florida 25 years ago. I had one under my car 1 morning. He ain't kidding. Lol.

Everything you say is so true about living in Florida! My neighbor had a 6 foot gator under her SUV but I never worried about the gators. I would walk my fenced in yard not looking for gators but Bufu frogs!! More dangerous for my pups!! Love your videos!
My uncle is a tracker for gators. The cops are only there to hold guard until the tracker that they called comes out they don't mess with the Gators at all
I' had a big gator sleeping 20 feet from me! I did not see it until it moved. It was in st. Pete .in a small pond. Tell people , you will not see them.

There's an old A frame building on U.S. 1 in Titusville that was Tropical Wonderland Park. Endorsed by Johnny Weissmuller, the 1950s Tarzan actor, the park had many animals escape before and after closing. At least some of the Skunk Ape sightings are a colony of chimpanzees rumored to be in the Windover preserve.
A gator can run 13 miles an hour. They can only do it for a short distance...fortunately.

People need to understand how these alligators can jump out of a calm, quiet, leafy little canal and grab a pet, being walked on the bank of a canal. You and your dog, STAY AWAY from all bodies of water in Florida, b/c he is RIGHT, if there is a body of water, 99 percent of time, there is an alligator in there.
Yep! Though like he pointed out, as far as humans are concerned, if you respect their space they’ll respect yours. Alligators are actually the most chill members of the crocodilian group! If you were sharing your state with Nile or saltwater crocs for example, it would be a whole other level of problem with crocs that have no problem putting a human on a T-shirt because you looked at them the wrong way!!! 😮

Orcas are the Border Collies of the Sea. Very smart, they kill sharks just for fun, don’t usually attack humans (leave the seal costume at home). Would drool on you if they could.

Swimming in Daytona last summer and some guy was fishing about 50 ft away. His rod bent over and he yells it's a big one! I started moving towards him and he yells yup it's another shark. I did about face and headed for shore.
I don’t think people at the beach realize how many sharks there are (as someone who fishes the beaches and uses drones) THERE ARE SHARKS EVERYWHERE

I lived in New Smyrna, which is the shark bite capital of the shark bite capital. Surf fishing, I caught tons of sharks. Mostly Bonnet Heads, which are a close cousin of the hammer head. Most of the shark bites in that area occur from young sharks that have no idea and are just curious. Still dangerous, but people think "JAWS". More like Taco Bell dog sharpened his teeth and decided to go swimming one day.
