    Golconda in the southern state of india, is famous not only for dimond, but its pearl capital, white, black and pearl. Hydrabad, is the epicenter of that. I have a black and pink pearl set while my mother gifted me white set, its an experience to go through the pearl mkt in old hyderabad.... world's most famous dimonds, namely, hope (in smithsonian, DC) and kohinoor (in britain) are all from india. Even today experts say the gold in indian household if comes out in the market will be more than total official gold in central banks. In india we say acquiring precious jewelry esp gold is auspicous, but selling is inauspucious. As a result most households have jewelry going back 4 to 5 centuries.

      Thanks for the feedback! I use very simple and easy to use App - iMovie for Mac. It has limited editing possibilities, but it’s enough for such kind of content

      @@JewelleryPleasure thank you very much. Simple but great! It makes the look and feel more fluid, and I really like this kind of detail display.

    😆 (lol) WELL!…. Nowadays, Hip Hop and Rap Music stars are ‘ the new maharajas ’ wearing an entire Jewelry store’s inventory of diamond & gold chains in oneupmanship competition to display the most gaudy and tacky adornments upon Earth.

    Please choose 1 way to pronounce foreign names and words, instead of 2 or 3, if it's not to much to ask.

      Maybe even Google the correct pronunciation first.

    The Indian diamonds were not gifted to queen , they were stolen

    • @Mod0308
      @Mod0308 Год назад

      The Koh-I-noor was GIVEN to the British as compensation for Britains help in the Sikh wars. It was used as PAYMENT for services rendered. It wasn’t stolen.
      In fact, Indias OWN COURT came out and made that EXACT declaration WAY BACK in 2017.
      Indias own government told EVERYONE to stop claiming it was stolen bc it wasn’t.
      The world would be about 75% better if everyone just up and decided to take 5 minutes to actually RESEARCH the history behind the cause du jour instead of immediately regurgitating everything they hear.
      That’s the pipe dream of all pipe dreams though seeing as about 95% of humans are perfectly content behaving like mindless sheep….wandering aimlessly huddled together in a trance state until their modern cultural deities come by and tell them what to care about next.
