I have the exact same symptoms you mentioned, literally everything. The allergies, post nasal, literally everything! I’m doing my endoscopy tomorrow..one step at a time hopefully
Hi. I saw a few of your prior videos talking about consuming alcohol again and eating pretty much whatever you want. I've read that the effects from lpr can take up to 6 months or more to heal. I would think if you're consuming inflammatory food and drink before your larnyx and esophagus has fully healed that your throat sx could certainly come back. After all, whether it's from reflux or an acidic beverage - it will still effect your esophagus on the way down, causing all the same sx.
Good plan 👌 no milk , no ice cream etc.. try eating small frequent meals . I had the nissen fundleplacation 2 months ago. Im struggling too. Thank you for sharing. It really helps that im not alone.
Sorry you’re still suffering. That’s kind of how I know there is another cause to this. If it was just the Les being weak then you and I would both be cured now but we aren’t unfortunately. I believe me initially feeling better was probably due to giving up my ppis and getting all of the acid back and than some. Probably helped out a lot with my gut motility.
@@TheBounceBack1996 yea like what you said it could be worse , I am better then I was before my operation. Thank for encouraging me to keep fighting. My prayers are with you my friend 🙏
Hey do you feel better meanwhile? I had my funduplicatio 6 days ago and I’m now on my recovery. Do you lift weights again? I’m a little afraid doing this after 4-6 week but I love going to the gym and don’t wanna miss it .. what’s your experience? All the best from Germany my man!
@@TheBounceBack1996 Thanks for the reply :) Will definitely lift again after the recovery time. At the moment swallowing is really hard for me, even when I eat small bites and chew good. Did you have the same problems first days after surgery? Best regards 🙏🏼
@@joshuazms4788 My swallowing was fine but I’d have issues with air bubbles coming back up. My doctor had me on a liquid diet for a very long time after surgery. I hear sometimes peoples doctors give them the green light for solid foods more quickly. But I also got the partial fundoplication not the full one.
I do wonder if it's a psychological thing? I have exactly the same issues, with really bad reflux and the dry cough. I went abroad for 4 months earlier in the year and handed my business over to my business partner and within days my symptoms eased. I've since returned to the UK and back to running my business and being stressed. Low and behold, I'm 3-4 weeks into another uncontrollable flare up. Trying everything to avoid the upcoming operation as i'm not entirely sure it'll cure me long term. Hope you find a resolution and cure soon mate.
Fair enough mate. Just out of interest, how hard and intense are you able to train in the gym now you've had the op. I fear not ever been able to have a 'proper' workout again.
@@danielanderson888 I can go as hard as I want with no issue. My ct scan showed my wrap was perfect according to my surgeon. From what I understand, some people who get the full fundoplication have limits to how hard they can go but others don’t. With me, I got the partial fundoplication and my surgeon gave me two months after surgery for working out but once I started he said there was no limits.

Hey bro, have you come across dr jamie koufman? She has a blog and videos on youtube. She is the one that coined the term LPR. She suggests drinking alkaline water from cerrawater. And eating a very limited diet. Melons and Bananas I believe. I got the cerrawater and I think my lpr is a bit better. Haven't started her detox diet yet. She also sprays her throat with the alkaline water. Took me a while to figure it out but when spraying, keep your tongue flat so it can hit your vocal cords. Hope you get better soon bro. Lpr is annoying and can cause cancer which is why I'm trying to solve this asap.
@@jessen007 yup. Tried that was one of many things I’ve tried. It helped a tad but not too much. I have bought 3 books on trying to beat Gerd/lpr including hers. I also did one of her coaching sessions which was very expensive. I don’t say this about too many people but she is not a good person and was uninterested in hearing my story. She will cut you off and just wants you talk at you. She gave me suggestions and talked at me when I was telling her that I already tried everything she told me lol.
Damnnnnn, i didn't expect that. That sucks man, especially after paying $500 for her 1 on 1 session. So I'm guessing she didn't give you any useful information then. Which 3 books did you buy? I got her diet book and acid watchers.
@@jessen007I read dropping acid, acid watcher cookbook and another one that I forgot the name of. I’m at my best when I go mainly carnivore and limit sugar. @TheBounceBack1996 I love the carnivore diet but I read that the protein makes more pepsin get activated as pepsin breaks down protein. Well thanks for the update and try gaviscon if you haven't. I think it helps prevent more acid reflux for me.
