I’m sorry about that! I lost my job as well! LPR is a disability .. not too many people know about it. I lost 40 pounds as well! No one understands it except US.. people with these issues .

Will you say this surgery was a success??? I have mine scheduled for July 1st … how much weight did you lose?

When I define success I think of a complete resolution of the previous problems. So right now I would say no it has not been a success but according to doctors and my surgeon it takes 2-3 months for my throat to heal so I am still recovering. I would say it’s still to early to tell and if you have similar symptoms to me after prolonging treatment for awhile it’s very possible that it takes time to heal and is not immediate. I will continue to make updates for better or for worse so stayed tuned. I am hopeful and I pray that one day this will all be behind me.

Definitely be careful with gaining weight after you are well. If you gain too much weight in a short time the intra abdominal pressure increases which could break your hernia surgery

Definitely. I am aware. When I say gaining weight I’m not really talking about belly fat I’m talking about muscle weight. My surgeon already told me to do it slow and my normal formula of a pound- pound and a half a week of mostly muscle weight wouldn’t disturb it. I’m naturally a thin dude and I work out all the time so it shouldn’t be a big deal. I’m also not gonna jump back on creatine most likely. He said 165-170 shouldn’t be an issue as long as I don’t do like 190-200.
