It's a used Harbor Freight 4x8 trailer. But any cheap 4x8 would be the same. Harbor Freight/ Northern Tool/ Amazon, just find the cheapest one. I like to find them used on marketplace or craigslist.
I think osb is a poor choice for a sub floor in a camper. Your camper will make water. You breath, you exhale 98.6 degree air at 100% humidity. All surfaces that are cooler than the dew point will condense and droplets will form and make their way to the low point, in this case your sub floor. OSB is like a sponge and will absorb water readily, osb absorbs water but doesn’t dry easily so it will swell and weaken. Osb is also very heavy for its very low strength.
Yup, I certainly agree with D. OSB is not a decent foundation for something that you want around for more than a couple seasons. Cheesy advice! Build it correctly once. 1/2 in. Marine grade plywood with a very flexible coating will treat you well for years to come.
I thought it was overkill to insulate that much. Are you planning on winter camping? Nice job.
Just wanted to build it well.
Where did you get your trailer for the build?
