His haircut complements his face so well.
He got it in India haha and they even set his hair on fire haha
Eric is a great facilitator. He asks great questions that keep the conversation growing and allows us to get deeper into Kelly's mind, while at the same time making references to things Kelly previously says to show he's actively listening. Great job
Totally agree, great interviewer with a real genuine connection with the people he interviews. Some of the people that have been doing this for years on tv or other platforms should maybe take some notes from Eric. I see too many interviewers constantly cutting off their interviewee
I had no idea he blew up in only 3 years?? I couldn't tell if I saw his videos, they're so perfectly crafted and inspiring!
Really good talk. Also, I love learning more about Eric. He’s such a cool guy.
I’ve been watching Ashley forever and started following Kelly when they moved in together! Love them both
Watched Kelly since the braille days. From my perspective, Kelly just did the thing he loved every single day until it worked out for him. His passion got him to where he is. It's all he thought about while other people his age were thinking about university or whatever. Same goes for his friend Luke.
wow this was a very inspiring podcast. thank you for sharing
Loved this pod and how you guys were able to really form meaningful conversation despite not being extremely familiar with one another. Some great lessons on self reflection and relationships.
Two men beautiful inside and out having an inspiring and fun conversation, with a lot of courageous vulnerability. Definitely worth saving and watching again. ❤ As a half-Asian podcaster myself, I learned so much from both of you. Thank you!
This was an awesome interview. Thanks for sharing.
such good questions and reflection on his answers... I like!!

Great podcast! Loved how Kelly pushes himself out of his comfort zone. Got him out of a bad place in life and he continues to live life to the fullest! DWE!
I was always curious about Kelly and how he reached where he is right now and everything he went through. thank you for answering my questions! Kelly inspires me to be a good creator but also to do what excites me in life and just living in the present regardless of everything.
Awesome interview!
Kelly saved my dreams, my life, with his videos. Thank you for sharing a moment with Kelly!

awww thank you!!
Kelly is so down to earth even with all the success and fame.
It really be those convos with the person you just met where you just lay it all out, just in sync and so many similar feelings despite the difference in lives.
Dude, you're a great podcast host. You ask great questions & truly listen to what the other person is saying. I hope I can be on your pod one day : )
Needed to hear this today, very inspirational

I love Kelly and Ashley - awesome couple. Kelly is so funny and talented - and so upbeat and positive. Ashley is so sweet and pretty.
Great interview! Being on your podcast someday is a goal now. #Letmecook
17:50 DWE lol
Individual interviews honor each person. Down the line …would also be fun to interview #kashley together as well. The group interactions bring another level of energy.
Oooh I love that! And on Tuesday I’m releasing Ashley next actually
@@trykarat Cool …can’t wait! 😄💕
I think the shutter speed on Kelly's cam is rlly low bc when he moves it's blurry
Yep I fixed it for later pods
Eric: “We’re going n hard”. I bet he is 😂
Jed laughing in the background got it
no waay
Warrior ref loll
Is it just me or is the B cam choppy? Kelly’s footage isn’t smooth. Maybe it’s my internet but I’ve quit and reloaded hella times
The wide of both of them is fine it’s just the talking head footage of Kelly
Yea- I screwed up one of the camera frame rates or something 🫠
@@trykarat don’t care watched the whole thing fucking great talk, just wanted to make sure you knew
🥹 thank you so much! ngl i've been stressing out a ton about the camera angle
Wow Ashley is the first? Awww
It would be interesting to invite many of your same guests back in 10 and 20 years from now to see how their lives and perspectives changed and what stayed the same.
I love this. Or even on a yearly basis too
@@trykaratFor sure. So much can change from year to year in your twenties -moves, career pivots and relationships.
It’s been interesting over the years to see friends who said they would never marry and have kids, do just that. Others who had strained relationships with their strict immigrant Asian parents in our teens now dismiss those days as they embrace their incomes as doctors (just as their parents had wanted) …but at the same time raise their 2nd gen kids differently than how they were raised. I guess Kelly could be a 3rd gen JA (1/2 Japanese American) which is interesting.
For my childhood friends experiencing that generational culture gap and differing expectations … the aging parent-adult child relationship is one of resigned acceptance and the growing recognition that life truly is short.
man has set the cam on Kellys shutter speed to like 20 or 30. Still a great podcast. Let me know if you need any tips on camera settings
Thank you! And yea I screwed up the camera settings- no idea how I let it slip - but now I always double check before every pod
came to the comment section to see who would bring up the SS 😭😭😭 (gr8 pod tho)
Editing is intuitive (a feeling).
does he talk about having ptsd in this video?
Yea at timestamp 16:34!
why the fps dropping on my boy
I made a mistake in shutter speed :( fixed it for future pods
kelly heart this if you read my comments on your vids lmao
ANTHPO??
Let Kelly talk more
it's balanced and flows very well tho
Thanks for the feedback!
Nope. It feels really balanced.
This guy looks like Jesse James West
If Jesse James West ate Jesse James West
His secret sauce is Ashley.
