James is such a little ball of energy. I adore him so much, little guy in perpetual motion!! God, I wish I had that energy and enthusiasm!!
My mom used to say “if I could bottle all that energy, I’d be a rich woman.” Of course, in 1950, her grandmother offer her $20 for every minute she could sit still. Mom never earned the first $20. She was always in motion.

Oh that would be so crazy! I’m trying to mentally get ready for winter. We’ve had such mild days that I keep forgetting it’s on it’s way
Enjoyed watching your video. One tip I learned from making gluten free cinnamon rolls is to place saran wrap on a damp counter (it makes it so the wrap doesn't move around) and then roll out the dough. The dough doesn't stick as much and yoi can use less flour. Did you do a video on your grain mill, I don't remember one but maybe I missed it?
Great idea on the Saran Wrap. I didn’t do a video exclusively on the mill but I showed it awhile ago when we first got it. We found it refurbished from eBay. Over the summer it was hard to find mills!
@@jasonandjulie I like Ebay. I've found a lot of good deals there cheaper than Amazon sometimes too, so it pays to check Ebay. Glad you got an electric mill, grinding by hand is labor intensive especially when you need a large amount of flour.
What a wonderful Thanksgiving celebration we had! The food was just incredible, and I absolutely love spending time with all of my grandchildren. We have so much to be thankful for. ❤️

James is so appreciative of food and has really grown so that he can help cook! I wouldn’t be surprised if he got into the food industry in some way in future. Plus, he asks good questions? “What are we making these for?” (Thanksgiving.) “Why?” ....”What’s next?”
Lydia and James, on the other hand, could be double trouble some day. 👫 🤩

Yes, When I first started using sourdough I worked exclusively with spelt. I can’t get it in any stores around me though
@@jasonandjulie that’s too bad-spelt is my new all purpose flour. So nice that you have a mill to make your own whole wheat though-fresh flour is so nice!:)
