Tigrex left a huge impression as annoying monster in almost every hunt i do, until my psp screen broken because my friend accidentaly broke it about 14 year ago if im not mistaken, and 3 years ago i bought my own pc and playing BDO and MH world and yeah, i found that deviljho is a good ally and more annoying than tigrex since that pickle is more tanky and like to cause tremor hahaha, yeah i agree pickle is menace and when i bought iceborne, it even more annoying than ever!
I remember, as a kid, I had 'Monster Hunter: Freedom 2' on my PSP. I vividly remember the opening cinematic where my avatar gets absolutely humbled by one of these things. When the game actually started, 6/7 year-old me swore that I would have my revenge on the Tigrex. Spoiler: that didn't end up happening. Instead, the next time we met, it killed me with almost no effort, leaving me shaken, and never wanting to do that particular mission again. Good times.
Ah yes... The infamous "collect popo's tongues" quest where it quickly becomes a horror game trying to run away from the tigrex, hoping you don't encounter him in the small area 8 (you can actually get him stuck here om a wall for just enough time to run away)

A Tigrex is literally a T-Rex’s wet dream. Imagine a physically nigh-unmatched T-Rex with GIANT forelimbs. A Tigrex would put the Jurassic World/Park Fauna to shame

Especially considering it likely has hollow bones or partially hollow bones filled with air sacs allowing it to glide (Tigrex cant actually fly). It would absolutely body a trex in a fight though as a rex is basically just an undersized Anjanath with no special abilities. (GC small Anjanath is 14.45 meters long, while the largest valid trex specimen Scotty is 13 meters long) The Tigrex probably has a comparable bite force to the Rex, as well as large powerful claws capable of disemboweling it's unlucky victims.
Not to mention Tigrexes roar is so powerful its mere vibration can hurt other creatures around it. Vibrating throw their bodies and causing their organs to shake violently.
Not to mention it does it so loud in the game. You can actually see its rib cage like slide and move its own roar. Is a barrier keep up with his? Own roar? To appoint it only likes to break as a ribcage when it gets enraged.
This is something true even in real life, sound waves can do a ton of damage to someone if they are close enough to something like that for long enough periods of time. Hell, I feel vibrations in my chest just being near someones car that has the bass up loud.
If you are too close to Tigrex when it roars the force of the vibration will send you flying away a few meters at least I remember that from Freedom Unite

This just makes me appreciate the people of the Monster Hunter universe even more. Despite having to contest and fight with monsters like this constantly they don't really seem that disturbed. Rather than falling into a pit of desperation they've adapted to the environment and have embraced the crazy and dangerous world they live with joy. And I just think that's neat.
well, from what I've read of the lore, there are actually places where people built entire cities and countries where there aren't any monsters, while the actual monster hunters are people who live out in the frontier away from civilization.

Yes, love him so much. Had one on MH stories 2 I named Rexecution. He was my powerhouse and it was through him that I defeated the final boss. Also a big fan of his dual blades and in base Rise his weapons were the meta!! Love you Rexy!❤

I’m very fond of Tigrex. He was the first monster I ever fought. My then boyfriend (now husband,) who at the time bought a Japanese DS along with the Japanese version of 4U, set the game down to go to the bathroom instructing me not to touch it or let anyone else touch it. I nodded and smiled, knowing full well once that door shut I was gonna open that DS and have a go. He’d been playing for a few minutes before I came over, and he’d lightly explained to me what Monster Hunter was about. So I felt kinda confident I could learn the game. Little did I know the language was stuck in Japanese, and the moment I started playing i was in trouble. With no idea how to heal, I kept fighting Tigrex till my future husband came back. Before he could scold me for touching his game, I quickly asked him “how do I heal?” The look on his face changed from upset to excitement as he sat down instructing me on how to take potions and sharpen the switch axe he was using. Despite it being my first time, I got that Tigrex limping with no deaths, and that moment made my future husband realize I was the one. And years later we’re still going at it full steam ahead. 🥰

There’s a slower and much more dangerous version of the Tigrex, it’s known as the Molten Tigrex, despite being sluggish at first, it’s attacks can caused explosive blight, if it hits its prey once again they will erupt in an brutal explosion, when enraged, it will more far faster for its huge size, hitting far harder and making its explosive blight far more dangerous. And it’s scales are far stronger to break down as it is more resilient to damage

Tigrex is a MonHun staple that I'm always glad to see people talk about. It's fast, ferocious and always on the prowl, aggressive and more than able to back up their threats. In a world with fire breathing wyverns and a dragon with metal scales that can control the wind, Tigrex is still just every bit as scary without any unique powers. It's tougher than nails and if you ever let your guard down for even a second, you're dead meat. Still one of my favorite monsters to this day
This brutal wyvern taught me how to evade, counter attack and hightened my awareness when i fighting this monster. It help me a lot when playing pvp rpg and fps games and also irl fights that i need to defend myself.

There’s a slower and much more dangerous version of the Tigrex, it’s known as the Molten Tigrex, despite being sluggish at first, it’s attacks can caused explosive blight, if it hits its prey once again they will erupt in an brutal explosion, when enraged, it will more far faster for its huge size, hitting far harder and making its explosive blight far more dangerous. And it’s scales are far stronger to break down as it is more resilient to damage
Oh my god yes.. Mh4u.. I got the chance to fight it.. Very dangerous fellah! I was an insect glave main btw! It was really fun trying to mount him! But sometimes I died when I got caught to the blast powder he emitted and then the roar!!! 🤣

Yeah just like Jyuratodus, Tigrex barely has evolved throw years. Its the closest relative of wyvern rex alive today.

Another fun fact about tigrex is that it is considered a pseudo wyvern due to being able to use its wings to walk and claw at prey. Another fact is that it is considered a living fossil and ancestor to all wyverns.
The fact he uses Vordt's phase 2 theme fits those damn wyverns perfectly.

Best Trex+Dragon I have seen so far.
Tigrex is a MonHun staple that I'm always glad to see people talk about. It's fast, ferocious and always on the prowl, aggressive and more than able to back up their threats. In a world with fire breathing wyverns and a dragon with metal scales that can control the wind, Tigrex is still just every bit as scary without any unique powers. It's tougher than nails and if you ever let your guard down for even a second, you're dead meat. Still one of my favorite monsters to this day
Everyone is gangsta until an angry pickle comes to slap the hell out of everyone with brute strenght.
One thing to keep in mind too that Tigrex can roar so loud that they're lungs can expand so much it can actually break its own ribs.
This brutal wyvern taught me how to evade, counter attack and hightened my awareness when i fighting this monster. It help me a lot when playing pvp rpg and fps games and also irl fights that i need to defend myself.
Tigrex is pretty badass, and so was this short

I love the fact that there are Monsters that always make me go "oh fuck" when I see them. Tigrex is one of them.
Zinogre would be an amazing addition as well. Talking about it's symbiotic relationship with thunder bugs and it's impressive mobility would make for a good video

What’s also interesting is that the brute tigrex roar is so loud for the reason that it’s made to communicate to other brute tigrex cause they live and inhabit more volcanic environments in the realm of monster hunter.
