- The track is Dei Machinae by Sidetracked.
It isn't used in-game, I just thought it fit the best for this and had it on in the background.
Also this has very little balance testing put into it at the moment, and I still have to implement a couple of things, as is evident by the footage. That'll be addressed in time.
Smaller stuff this time. A bit of subtle balancing work has been done, but there's still a long way to go.

An interesting addition would be some holographic screens around Draedon when the battle begins, as if he were viewing the integrity of his machines' hull in real time.

The energy katanas resemble murasama so much now, honestly looks even better

The touch I like that no one talks about is probably the fact that he renamed Thanatos to Hades, while a small change, in greek mythology they are one and the same.
Nope. Thanatos is the god of death itself, similar to the grim reaper, while hades is the god of the dead, ruling over the underworld. Two completely different gods.
They aren’t, hades rules the underworld while Thanatos is death itself
I really like hades; he really feels like a force to be reckoned with because of his speed and the sheer aura behind that laser (which Thanatos struggled with a little bit tbh).
My only concern is that it looks like he’s vulnerable pretty much throughout the fight, which I am worried would make him very easily meltable with piercing + armor penetration. Has this been addressed somehow?
The alternative of having him not be consistently vulnerable is sections where you just do nothing, waiting for them to open again. That would be completely horrible.
Base Calamity already has some resistances for him baked in, and I'll let balance testing take care of things beyond that, as per the video's description.
the Ares long-range deathray attack with the rockets from above massively reminds me of the final boss from Intrusion 2, was it inspired by that at all? this is all super awesome

i think the lightning is cool but i also think it's too distracting... my eyes constantly kept getting thrown off by them maybe turn down the transparency?

What about 1.8 infernum twins attack at 1:51? Im talking about lasers which Artemis and Apollo shoot when one is on top and the other is on bottom. I love these reworks so much, really feels like an aerial dance

I feel like thannatos could be more aggressive since he seems kind of useless when it comes to actually hitting you and his deathray is offscreen 80% of the time which kind of defeats its purpose.
