Hello! It did make a crackling sound from a mistake being made. I showed that in the video and I do have a TikTok account showing how to fix that issue.

10.30 they're traction pads so if your tires get stuck in the mud you put the pads under the wheels so you get some purchase so you can go.

I just finished the Lego defender as well, but the pistons in the engine don’t work. Any suggestions on what’s wrong?
That can be a couple problems, do you notice it jammed as it moves?
check youtube for fixes, eg racingbricks
mostly related to orientation of certain pieces
