Okay so tell me if I’m getting this right: the worm familiar that sathona gathered from her father’s death falsely warned her about a cataclysmic disaster in order for her to commune with the worm gods and force the sisters to do their bidding in the ways of the sword logic in order to quench their own hunger? Edit: okay so upon further discussion with my friends, the worm gods are a manifestation of the darkness, so that means the darkness lied to her about the cataclysmic event and persuaded them to go deep so that they didn’t find out about the TRAVELER which actually chose the hive initially. The darkness basically stole Sathona, Aurath, and Xi Ro away from the light in order for them to do their bidding. These hive gods are not the enemy, they’re just pawns too.
Which is exactly why this cut scene is so epic! 💕 All this time the darkness/the witness was just controlling everything in time for their own benefit. These poor siblings were nothing more than slaves to the darkness and it’s led to catastrophe
@@angelkim.9549 And it shows how afraid the Witness was to have them claimed by the Light, and aiding the Traveler. But because of it manipulating Sathona, the Hive slaughtered God knows how many civilizations over the centuries.
@@angelkim.9549 Given how powerful Savathun seemed to be as a Lightbearer, I wonder how Oryx and Xivu Arath would be, given how powerful they both are... I mean, Oryx was able to slay one of the Worm Gods the Hive had been tricked into brokering a contract with to follow the Sword Logic, as well as gaining the power to make Taken because of it, and Xivu Arath feeds on conflict since she's a god of war, _AND_ she can be able to create the Wrathborn too with her powers.
I wonder if the madness that befell the Osmium King was he saw visions all the misdeeds of his daughters under the Witness? The Traveller was overhead and has been known to share visions of things to come.
I can see that, since the Witness was desperate and afraid to have them reborn in the Light, so why not push them to do something to the Osmium King as well… and the Traveler trying to warn him before they would come after him when tricked by the Witness.
