Yes but, it was almost Like a Mixture of The UP 3985 and An N&W Hooter Whistle itself

The K1s and K2s were built before the N&W adopted the Hancock 3-chime as their standard passenger locomotive whistle, so they all originally had hooter whistles. I believe only the K2s that were streamlined later on were converted to Hancock 3-chimes.

You sure have a lot of content from O. Winston Link. A lot of people don't realize that he was a big reason the J class 611 got saved from scrap. It's all in who you know to get things done.

Well I certainly admire your interest in steam locomotives at such a young age. My youngest of four children is 19. Not one of my kids have the same interest in trains/railroads, that I have. My son works for John Deere so his interest is in tractors and combines. I love the old N&W steam program, but there is one fallen flag railroad that tops it for me. That being, the New York Central System and what steam locomotives that railroad used. In particular the Niagara 4-8-4 's and the Hudson 4-6-4 type steam engines. Which none of these exist today. It breaks my heart that not one Niagara or Hudson could have been saved from scrap. Most of the steam engine pictures I have hanging up in my home, are of these two classes of locomotives. Black and white, as well as color prints that I have kept over the years. So if you ever do a feature on NYCS steam on your channel, I'll be sure to tune in. Have fun with your hobby of railroading. It's certainly has been enjoyable for me.
