Hey Kold, It doesn't matter what equipment they give you to try, any brand, any model will look good in your hands, because the ability is not in the equipment but in the artist who uses it.
@DJI need to stop lying about the flight times! There is nothing like ideal conditions..If I just put it in the shelf i'll get not minutes but months. Talk about the real world instead of some gimmik. Tell us what is the minimum flight time we are going to get in the most extreme, abusive conditions!!! Nobody buys a drone just to hover in windless ideal condition!!! DJI need to advertise the actual minimum flight time when a drone is used to it's full potential in the most extreme environment. A drop from 18 minutes to just 7 is a joke!
I still remember the times when Sam Kolder regularly published great videos on this channel. In the meantime, it's nothing more than a permanent advertising channel for DJI.
As a former RUclipsr I can tell you that it just doesn’t pay on the same level or even 1/50th of what same is doing now. He’s on to greener pastures with commercial directing and I’m sure he’ll get into TV directing soon as well. Trust me, the lifestyle is 10x better when the RUclips grind isn’t ticking like a clock of a never satisfied beast
Pros flight time, pretty durable and for beginners. Cons not for anyone already working with fpv drones daily for their job. Much easier to recommend that the first dji fpv. Good job dji.

There are a few money-squeezing tactics I'm not a fan of. The goggles aren't purchasable separately, making the most expensive bundle the *only* way to get them. And on top of that, that expensive bundle doesn't even come with the traditional remote, which is another $200 on top of that (not to mention being forced to have the Motion Controller, something that many might simply not have bought otherwise). Despite that, the drone itself looks awesome, it's just the process of getting it gives a bad impression.
Agreed. I do not like the bundle options. My bundle of choice would be: Avata, goggles 2, traditional remote, 3 batteries. But of course that bundle isn't an option and I'd have to piece it together myself.

It is simply a drone for people who want to start in FPV. What is incredible is that in a cinematic drone you don't have the option 24, 25 and 30 fps... that's like a joke... That said, nice video and I'm glad more people can get into FPV
Thank you for explicitly mentioning that it's the goggles that make the FPS difference. It's a pity to have a newer improved and lighter goggles but to compromise on maximum FPS. That's somewhat unfortunate.

For shooting guys surfing and be able to follow them on a wave what drone do you recommend? Am l correct this drone can only be flown forward and in that case shooting the surfer in front of the wave and the drone goes backwards while filming him is an impossibly?

Homegrown Chinese product have come a long way. Granted, most dont have the quality like its western counterpart but DJI is 1st class.
