@snaps-zt7eb no real complaints. I'm pretty happy with it. I've noticed a slight shift in point of aim at 50 yards that translate to larger shift at 100yrds.after breaking down my 300 blackout for transportation. Transportation is simply separating the upper from the lower, detaching the magazine, and throwing everything in a book bag, along with extra mags, hearing protection, lugging it around less than gently. 25 yards and below remain pretty solid. I find the gold relatively easy to pick up. This is primarily for home defense, and in a pinch, it would work for SHTF. I keep thinking I should add a slight optic riser to it as it sits kinda low, but meh. It works well enough, and again, it's not on my primary rifle. Overall I'm pretty happy with it and would make the purchase again. If your still on the fence I say give it a try and see if it works for you and your application. It comes with a pretty solid warranty.
The 510c is great. I’ve owned several on my builds. This time I’m going with this one. And compare them. Both are in the same price bracket. Amazon sells them way cheaper than gun shops by the way.
Love the review!! with your experience looking through different color optics (red, green and now gold) which color do you think is best, and easy to pick for you when looking at different targets and backgrounds??
The green washes out way too badly against the trees. For that reason, I'd probably never have one considering that it's green and heavily wooded where I'm at in Ohio, and also green with lots of brush and cactus where I'm at in Arizona. Red is still the go to. That said, gold looks kind of cool.
They may be for night vision use, but yeah I found them useless. And worse the remaining few went from "oh I can finally see it" to "too damned bright" in only about 4 clicks
No the first 2 clicks are for using with night vision glasses and next couple are very low and for use at dusk in very dim light The good thing about this sight is you set it as bright or dim as needed
Looking forward to getting the Holosun 510c, but that gold looks gooood!
The gold really does look good.
Mine just shipped today :) putting it a 300 blackout FDE build. For my birthday. Very excited.
@@USMCPFC1 I know it's been a year but happy very late birthday, and how's that optic working for you?

I still Run a lot of red due to our prototypes coming out in red first, however I feel like I see green better and faster.

Anyone else basically not see any of them under 5 or 6?
Remember this is outside while it’s incredibly bright. Settings 1-2 are also NV compatible settings.
Does that mean 1 to 6 is useless? It doesn’t show anything

Which of their optics is that?
A red dot should be ... red, but look forward to trying the gold. Make sure you tip your hand model well!
