Wow!! 17 years and still going strong!! I am very very pleased for you both indeed! Speaking from personal experience, I am gay and I have been involved in age gap relationships when my partners have been significantly older than I was. The age difference never put me off as it SOLELY was the person that I was attracted to and if two people love each other unconditionally, that is what matters, as long as we got on great together and shared the same interests then why not? Gay or straight, it doesn’t make a difference. Anyway, my ex and I didn’t work out but the age difference did not play a role in our break up. I am truly and very sincerely so pleased for you both and I wish you both every success for the future! I am sorry to hear that you both encountered a lot of hatred from people and I hope that 17 years has allowed them to try and accept you both, mate. What you both need to remember is that your relationship is nobody’s business but your own and I personally wouldn’t care what people think, especially regarding my sexuality. When I watched your movie, I was all for the option of the move to a different town , as the best solution to make things easier. That would have been my choice, to leave the crazy people in the distance. So, to me , it looks like you two took the tougher road. So glad that it worked out for you two anyway.
