i had a question , suppose they are connected through the dongle on ps4 and i use the 3.5mm jack to connect to my phone to use discord so will it have both the audio or only the audio through the jack?
Found this headset on an internet providers website, that just began selling gaming products, and i believe they miss priced it where they priced all the blackshark headset versions (v2 x, v2 and v2 pro) at 60 USD. I would highly recommend for that price if you can find it anywhere where you live.
Im use them from a year. Amazing headset. No issue at all. Also good with Warzone if any one play. I advice myself this product. They better for me then Astro a50
Just bought these yesterday based off multiple great reviews, straight out of the box they don't charge. Tried different cables and even a USB multimeter to confirm, headset will not charge. Buyer beware, I checked and Reddit has a few others experiencing the same, being returned today. Great review, not a knock at all against The Product Lab just sharing my experience.
i love how there is no indicator percentage not even installing their bloatware program! i guess changing color on fully charged or option to see what percentage it is at is too much for razer. I hope we have the technology one day.

@@edrinm4889 sorry for not responding earlier, yes, I have that issue some times, what I do to stop it is turn off the headset by holding down the power button, then turn it back on then the beeping goes away, this has only happened to me a few times since I bought it.

Just to let you know and ask a question. Can you really use them while charging and if so how? I asked Razer customer support and they told me it is impossible to use the headphones while charging.

Spot on review, sir! I had crackling issues right out of the box and found out that other consumers were having the same issue. I fixed this problem by simply relocating the dongle to a different USB port and messed with the EQ settings in Synapse and have not had an issue since. My only gripe is that I wish the range was just a liiiittle further and that the mic arm is kinda.. meh. Other than that, I've been blown away by the performance of these bad boys! They're also probably the most comfortable pair of cans I've worn with glasses on!

@Jack_80 Didn't realize there was a 2023 version out until I read your comment! I watched a couple of videos on it, and if mic quality and bluetooth aren't important then I would just go with the original V2 Pro. Some folks are claiming the battery may be a little better as well but I've not had any issues with the original.

Yes if you have no budget, No if you are on a budget and I find that the v2 x gets the job done but if you need a headset that is mid quality then the regular v2 works well too
I had an obnoxious problem happen with both my wireless razer headsets, this one included, where after some time I would get a beeping in my ear and the audio would cut out for a minute. Eventually it was so bad I couldn't use them. Aside from that would have been everything I wanted out of a headset. I got the corded option instead to avoid beeping for whatever reason but now I get really odd glitches with my computer whenever the audio card has to comnect which actually can freeze apps and make my keyboard and mouse not function properly for a minute.

Hey there loving your videos, I really need help in deciding which headset to get, i'm torn between the arctis 9 and razer blackshark v2 pro, in terms of audio quality which one would you say is best? Do not buy the 2023 v2 pro trust me it’s not worth it. The biggest issue of this headset is the dongle does not sync I’ve had this headset for years and I’m so fed up of constant troubleshooting, unplugging, replugging, cannot even play a single game when it starts acting up, my biggest regret is buying this headset let me save you from wasting money,frustration, and headache from an overpriced crap of a headset and don’t buy it if you do decide to after that warning all I can say sorry bud I tried to warn you mine on the other hand is going in the trash. I won’t be buying headset products from razed ever again.
Been rocking this for 9 months now the updates for improvement are consistent and has vastly improved it but I have never been a fan of THX just turn it off for gaming and music sounds so much better, I have a hd58x even though that sounds better than this I tend to use the v2pro more because it's wireless and for music is really decent for a gaming headset .
You didn't show us what the mic sounds like, for not showing basically half of the product. I need to know how I sound on the microphone with an example of the reviewers voice. 3/5 otherwise 5/5.
It sounds pretty damn good, but you'll definitely have to adjust EQ for it first. But yeah, headset mic can never beat a decent studio mic. But it's good if you compare it to other headsets like Cloud II or G Pro X (after you've managed to adjust everything for YOUR voice).
If I customise my headset with synapse and connect it to the playstation, will the customisation carry over or do i need to buy the Razer Kaira Pro cos i think this heaset has an equalization app.

you’ll just have to pick a sound output, one or the other. i’ve done this with my razor nari, and it doesn’t have interference or any of that. you just need to pick your 3.5mm jack OR your wireless dongle to play sound out kf

I've been using them for over a year, and the microphone isn't that good. It's decent at best. And upgrading the firmware a few months after I bought them made it even worse, weirdly enough. Other than that, they're good.

Love this headset, BUT.... I've had issues with the damn beeping for so long. Even after charging the headset for many hours. Also if im playin, and want to get something to eat, the headset will start breaking up when im 3 meters away...
This happens when people mistreat their belongings! Personally I have had mine since a few months after they came out they work great no problems but I do at keep good care like I wipe them down before and afterward each use with a wet woo antibacterial wipe or a wet rag I clean the cups with alcohol soaked wipes and set on headset stand or in the drawer specifically cushioned for my v2 pros! I don’t let anyone touch them not cus I don’t like them I don’t trust they won’t have an accident a natural disaster they get scared and they drop them! If you don’t guard them with all your might then don’t expect it to remain in top shape!

Yes but at the same time the Hyper X cloud alphas got release almost 2 years later than the Razer Blackshark V2 Pro theres of course other factor that can impact batteries and im not shaming the Hyper X Cloud Alphas I even own a pair they are great but different headsets specialise in different areas of gaming some are sound some are microphones and some are battery life!
I literally just bought this, I needed a new chair and added this headset to my order. I paid *$179.99* for it just a few days ago directly from Razer but it's now on sale for *$99.99* from Amazon and other sites.... really I should be sending this back as it's a *55.55%* savings. I have been using a Turtle Beach and it's a great headset but gets uncomfortable when wearing for long sessions, I haven't used this Razer much yet, just got it out of the box and then charged it and installed the software. The major thing that I do like is how comfortable it is, the Turtle Beach fits too tight against my ears which is great for keeping out background noises but almost does that job too well, the Razer is a lot lighter and doesn't put near the pressure on my ears. Once you install the Synapse software the sound quality is way better. The biggest grip I have besides getting screwed over on the price is the fact that this headset *does not* include a code to unlock the THX 7.1 surround sound, it's a *$19.99* add-on that if you want it has to be purchased separately, evidently some of their other headsets do include an unlock code but this one sadly does not, it does come with a 15 day trial version you can enable, for the cost of this headset they can easily include that feature at no extra cost to the consumer.
Just purchased from ebay for $70 usd including shipping. They retail right now for $180 brand new. After watching many reviews I decided it was a good deal and I went through with it. Thanks for the video man and I'm looking forward to getting these bad boys in the mail !
9 months late, but if anyone has a similar question - they do not, at least for me. And after the firmware upgrade, the mic quality dropped even further in discord.

The charging port got pushed in to the point tape is required to charge while NOT in use. This was at the 2 month mark.

I had a razer man o war, and i'm pretty sure I know what you mean by the beeping. It makes that noise to let you know the battery is getting low

@@napperm2310 same here. I turned the maximum volume down to 70 so that when I have the knob all the way up, I can barley hear the buzzing.

Yes but at the same time the Hyper X cloud alphas got release almost 2 years later than the Razer Blackshark V2 Pro theres of course other factor that can impact batteries and im not shaming the Hyper X Cloud Alphas I even own a pair they are great but different headsets specialise in different areas of gaming some are sound some are microphones and some are battery life!

I literally just bought this, I needed a new chair and added this headset to my order. I paid *$179.99* for it just a few days ago directly from Razer but it's now on sale for *$99.99* from Amazon and other sites.... really I should be sending this back as it's a *55.55%* savings. I have been using a Turtle Beach and it's a great headset but gets uncomfortable when wearing for long sessions, I haven't used this Razer much yet, just got it out of the box and then charged it and installed the software. The major thing that I do like is how comfortable it is, the Turtle Beach fits too tight against my ears which is great for keeping out background noises but almost does that job too well, the Razer is a lot lighter and doesn't put near the pressure on my ears. Once you install the Synapse software the sound quality is way better. The biggest grip I have besides getting screwed over on the price is the fact that this headset *does not* include a code to unlock the THX 7.1 surround sound, it's a *$19.99* add-on that if you want it has to be purchased separately, evidently some of their other headsets do include an unlock code but this one sadly does not, it does come with a 15 day trial version you can enable, for the cost of this headset they can easily include that feature at no extra cost to the consumer.

Do these work well with Discord? The Logitech pro X Wireless do not work well at all with Discord, mic sounds like you are blocking your nose...
9 months late, but if anyone has a similar question - they do not, at least for me. And after the firmware upgrade, the mic quality dropped even further in discord.
