Arctis Pro is much better because of the equalizer is more professional. Razer tends for 120$ make bad quality headphones. They only want to produce cheap surround stuff that works but not the best.

I got the v2 Pro's for my series X and ps5 and works great for both! Dolby atmos on the xbox sounds great
this is what i looked for !
I love short reviews like this. May I know your opinion if it's worth the upgrade from my Logitech G Pro headset (not the X) to this? I am not using headphone mic. Looking for better sounding one. If yes, I am able to get this for free because I have enough Razer Silvers to exchange for items. If not, maybe I just get the Hyperspeed Mini keyboard.
Did U change from g pro to black shark v2 if so what do u think?
Misodiko has a tutorial video on how to change the ear cushion it’s actually really easy and their cooling gel ear cushions are very nice
We both have CT! Nice.
Nice! haha
Loose frame?
Hard to replace or to clean earcusions?
Nah man thats a no go.
Superb review, thanks a lot! Imma keep searching.
Thanks! Hope you find something that works well for you.
@@CalebThornton Thanks! I am currently deciding between Logitec G Pro X and a Seinheiser GSP 370. I have a big head and not sure yet which band cushion would be more comfortable.
@@unnf9971 don’t get the g pro x man it’s the worst headset I’ve ever tried in my life the sound is extremely muddy and feels like you’re in cave or something
Replaceable ear cushions. You can check misodiko in yt or in their website.
I was about to buy this headset few days back, but i decided against for the reason that i need to install that razer synaps app that i started to hate few years back becouse of the resources that it was eating on my laptop. And since i already have the app from hyperx ngenuity, i went for a hyperx cloud 2 wireless instead. They were at about the same price.
Still not sure which one would have been better, i certainly like the look of the blackshark v2 pro a little bit more, but i saw on some reviews that it is prety frigile.
I needed to get a new headset b/c my previous set died on me, I just got these and damn they sound good, super comfy and the mic is ok, it's not the best but there's very few mics out there that will sound super good unless you're going to dish out quite a bit and know how to use software to edit it.
Funny thing is I hate the wired Blackshark V2 but love the wireless pros! The sound and comfort is miles ahead of the wired ones. I was between these are the Corsair HS80 wireless and prefer these as they are more comfortable and I can wear these for hours on end.
How are these now? Wud u still recommend? Im confused between v2 pro wireless and logitech g pro x wireless
@@hep2022 I’m still loving them to be honest. Great comfort, great battery life and overall enjoyable headset. I haven’t tried the Logitech ones so try both on Amazon and just return the one you don’t prefer!
@marshayame Can you use the 3.5mm cable to use the headset wired, say if the battery is low or wanting to save battery?
Do you think this will be taken? will there be any breakage, deterioration or loosening in the head adjustment bars on the sides?
Its not the metal wires or the exposed cables that worries me, more like the plastic that is holding the metal. How is that holding up?
Hey Caleb have you ever done chair reviews? its a little late for me i just literrly ordered the ergo chair 2.. but would have loved an in depth review.. most chair reviews on YT seem like paid off shills
Dope video
Thank you!
I really love them but my headset had a noise when i turned the volume to the max. I thought it was a problem with my headset and sent it back but after i saw many people that posting that issue. does your headset have that noise when you put the volume to the max or no ?
I have the wired one with usb sound card I loved it ❤️
Nice! Glad you enjoy it 😀
@@CalebThornton Bro have ever tried Hyperx Alpha s do you recommend V2 ör alpha S mu heart says go with Alpha S what do you say. Wanna have a good gaming experience
Great video dude! one question, hyperx cloud core 7.1 or blackshark v2? (not pro) its for gaming and loud footsteps hehe
Blackshark v2.
Isn’t the adjusting part too weak?
I’ve had mine for two years just found out you can replace ear cups lol
if the batt dies can i still use with the 3.5mm jack?
Would these headsets be good for youtube videos while recording/streaming? Thanks
Great review! When you plug these into your Xbox controller do they sound the same as they do wirelessly on PC?
Thanks! It's not the same sadly not nearly the same volume output but they work ok for it. I just wish Xbox would work with PC headsets wireless like the PS4 does.
PLEASE RESPOND. Alright, i have Been, and am, having battery life issues. It beeps like crazy like beep boop, beep boop. It repeats many times quite often, even though I charge it 20 hours a day. HELP
@@lilb_liquid8332 throw them away
OMG he sounds kinda like Austin Evans but less excitement 😁 Cute as well 😉
Hey there loving your videos, I really need help in deciding which headset to get, i'm torn between the arctis 9 and razer blackshark v2 pro, in terms of audio quality which one would you say is best? I want something that has immersive audio along with a nice amount of bass, I'm not too savvy when it comes to technical details with audio but i've heard the audio with the arctis 9 is hit and miss but the audio control panel where you can change it's presets does that help at all or should I look at getting the blackshark v2 pro?
What did u go with?
@@blackshak18 ended up going with the arctis pro wireless aha
Arctis Pro is much better because of the equalizer is more professional. Razer tends for 120$ make bad quality headphones. They only want to produce cheap surround stuff that works but not the best.
My Krakens finally died so onto the Blackshark V2 , great vid hope mine dont fail
Do you recommand Blackshark v2 after 2 months?
@@TheAdmer hey, yeah the sound quality is really good once setup on Razer Synapse .
They feel pretty comfy on my head and the adjuster holds the position well , they can feel a bit heavy after long use tho and ears will get warm after a good few hours but nothing out of the norm.
The mic .. friends said it was a bit shit at first until I played about with the settings and got to a decent level.
Build quality , I’ve dropped them twice off my desk and accidentally snagged the cable a couple times , there built well tbh no damage or that came from it , but I can see why people worry they do feel a little flimsy but other than that decent headset , movies and music sound a lot better !
I would recommend them 8/10 👌 hope this helps
@@Cheiff117
Thx you very much, My Man of War stops working, and I need to find good wireless headset.
Every headset i have seen have mixed opinion...
Do you have any White noise or something like that when you don't play anything?
@@TheAdmer i have the wired black sharks but there’s no white noise or that unless ur rubbing or tapping on it
Sadly the plastic holding the metal wires broke on mine after 2 months, other than that I enjoyed it but looking for a better quality headset now
mine didn't break, but I tugged the wire and broke the sound.
used for a day, the mic is shit on default, you need to tweak it first so it can be better.
I got the white version.
Also I never used THX since i needed a product code, now I have no memory of getting one but maybe i did..
nice vid thanks
Thanks for watching!
The audio quality on these is amazing and theyre super comfortable, but their side tone function doesnt work and the fact that customer support keeps trying to tell me that it cant be replicated when I sent them 6+ link, including ones to their own razer forums where everyone is complaining about the side tone on all the ones they've bought and then returning them, has become annoying AF and pretty crappy of their team.
I am between this headset and razer kranken.I think razer kranken will last longer because the build seems better but i am not sure. What do you recomend?
Nice video really needed the feedback! You got a sub :D
But I have a question I love the fact that it's wireless, but can't decide between the razer blackshard V2, the razer blackshard V2 pro and the Razer kraken X. I want for my cellphone, PC, PS4 and PS5, Wich you think is better?
Does the THX surround sound work on Xbox series X? if so, do I have to activate it on my computer before using it with the xbox? If I am correct I recall you said you where an Xbox user?:)
Hi, great video. do you know if I can use this Blackshark V2 Pro with the usb sound card fo the V2? I mean I you want to use this wirelessly version wired to the pc and use THX sound.
Was wondering if the usb sound card will work with this.
It should yes. But you can adjust the eq wirelessly with the v2 pro so you really don't need the sound card.
I plugged in a set of steelseries arctis prime headset to the usb soundcard and it allowed me to adjust the eq and use THX on the steelseries
is it good for 100 bucks? i really dont like that i cant remove the ear cushions its like i have to replace the headsets when they are dirty because of daily use and sweat
Im watching from belgium and i like so much your videos, thanks man💪
Does anybody find the "surround" on these performing better in stereo that in Spacial audio? I play warzone and I feel that it is better in stereo.
Will the headset connect using the same usb dongle from a razer wireless mouse?
hello! can you share your eq setting that you are using now?
Man I’m early. Glad to see my headphones will be holding up! I have a question about the surround sound capabilities though. Does it come with a voucher for the THX surround like it does for their other headphones 7.1 surround sound? Couldn’t find an answer to this anywhere.
Technically I have them but I have to wait to open them since they’re a birthday present.
Thanks for watching! I wish I could answer this question better for you but I really don't remember. I think it may have been a voucher in the box but then again I'm doubting myself since it was 6 months ago.
@@CalebThornton That’s ok. Thanks for the response anyways though! I’ll find out in about 5 days anyways
@@enlargedquack Exciting! Will have to let me know haha. I hope it works well for you 😀
@@enlargedquack When I received my it didn't come with the voucher, I thought maybe I missed it and went searching for it. But after setting the headsets up it is automatically included in the Synapse software options. That also means Synapse has to always be open for the surround sound to work.
I just got these but for some reason when i listen to stuff theres like a crackling on the headset do you get that?
Take a drink everytime he says "down the road"
My arctic 7x Hyper x I think it’s called and after heavy use it now has broken on one side and I’m now looking for a new headset should I get this headset or the razor black shark v2 non pro
This a great video!! I have the same headsets and was wondering if you also have two sound devices installed under windows as output devices (razer blackshark v2 pro and also THX spatial sound). Which of these two do you use? The synapse app tells me to set THX as default all the time
Thank you! I pretty much always use the spatial audio as I just enjoy it but that is just going to be up to personal preference.
@@CalebThornton thanks Caleb for the reply. But you leave spatial on then with auto setting? Just wondering
@@CalebThornton Hi Caleb, me again. Whenever I choose "THX Spatial Sound" I get a MUCH lower volume output from the headphones in comparison to choosing Razer Blackshark v2 pro. Do you happen to have this issue? I recently updated the firmware of the headsets to the latest version
@@anibalhuneeus I have not noticed that issue personally. It may just be the fact that it is using surround sound Vs. not having it so its more direct audio rather than trying to separate it to create the surround sound.
Are theese good for ps5? And can u use the razer app on your phone to mix the sound ? And will it save that to the ps5?
Hi, thanks for a video! Do you have a noise in right ear (like from power block)?
How do you setup for Xbox step by step wirelessly?
How would this compare to hd6xx with dac? I got that combo because of reviews and got to say I'm not impressed with the sound quality or bass...
you can replace the ear cushions!
Yea with a knife XD
I got mine a few months ago but I keep having this issue where it will beep sometimes once for a long time or like 5 time in a row. I don't know whether this is connectivity issues or something but its really annoying other than that they're working great!
Hmmm that is odd, hopefully that issue resolves itself or you find what is causing it.
Sameee here. It’s insanely infuriating
Found a solution yet?
Do you know the problwm by now? I want to buy but reading the problems before made up my mind
Is your headphone Arctis 7P+?
Anyone knows where can i find ear cups for the white version?
Was wondering if you somehow had fixed, or didn’t experience the crackling with the headset. I’ve had mine for about a day and after all the updating and tweaking i’m still getting a crackling noise cutting out a bit of audio every 30 seconds or so. Any fix you know of or you just didn’t get this issue?
do you use it with pc or what ?
Do these headphones have any latency ?
Can I use these with an Xbox series s? Awesome video quality btw 👍
