Ah, good 'ol 2nd Avenue. You were just a couple blocks away from the house I used to rent with a couple friends. Haven't been back in too long. Thanks for posting!
I took a college tour in kearney on april 1st, 2022 right before i moved to black hills last summer helping my parents moved out of omaha! Then i went inside the archway. Yeah sure is a nice big town, i like move there somedays and get reg high paying job and get affordable apartment unit there. I havent apply there, but i will eventually!
Hahaha. I went there once . The Dome Lounge. Otherwise known as the “ DO ME” Lounge because of the late/ early shifts of some nearby factory which would pop up at the bar. Or so I was told by several people.
My brother in law ran all the bars in Kearney back in the 1990s. He was like Dalton in the movie Roadhouse and knew a lot about the bar business. He had a bouncer that worked for him Curtis Harry who went to the winter Olympics in Lillehammer Norway back in 1994 with the Trinidad and Tobago bobsled team. His friend Dana ran a bar called the Dome for many years there in Kearney. I worked at a place called Midwest Audio in the summertime in the 1990s they sold car audio home audio TVs vcrs etc if you wanted an Alpine Midwest Audio was the place to get it. They also did custom vehicle window tinting with Oakley thermonuclear protection film. Kearney was the number 1 party college in the nation all throughout the 1990s. Good times back then.
Just ignore @Ron Skancke He's just probably been stuck on his farm last 40 years and hasn't been 10 miles past his property lines. I'm a hard core Democrat in rural NE. We exist. You'll be fine whether you're liberal or conservative. Kearney has both. Ron's just a hater. We got 'em unfortunately. But UNK is a good University in Kearney. Keeps it progressive. It's a mix of conservative and liberal. You'll be fine. There's lots of things to do in Kearney and get involved in. Nice parks, nice people, good camping around, lots of volunteer opportunities etc. Hope you've adjusted well so far
I grew up in Kearney, but don't get up there very often anymore. Great to see many of my old haunts. Thanks for the ride!
Thanks for watching!
please go to crawford nb.
Love Nebraska
Why is Kearney so much more welcoming than most smaller cities? Cleaner and more to offer.

I stopped and checked out Kearney on a cross country trip over the summer. Nice little town.

Yep, that’s Kearney. My hometown. KHS class of 1963.

Ngl. I didn’t know this was a real town. I only know about it because it was on an episode of Dexter
Thanks for the video!
Nice to see my old elementary school here lol

Cool story bro! Thanks for watching!
nice looking city more built up than i thought..guess this the main city for central nebraska?
Grand Island is allegedly larger but it's full of undesireable people. Kearney is the nicest city in Central NE. Lived there for over 30 years.
What kind of transportation do you have there?
Bro this look very similar to Lexington

Yes. All Midwestern towns have advice for people from California. Dont bring your liberal viewpoints along.
