My mom is from Aurora, NE but grew up in Des Moines, IA.. my grandma lived in Des Moines for the longest time and we’d go visit her every summer and everytime we’d stop at the Archway to feed the carp in the ponds and visit the museum.. ahh the memories.. ❤❤ my grandma passed just last year at 78 from dementia.. she was a great woman 👵🏻👼🕊️

I I'm growing up in Kearney, Nebraska and this is probably A very welcoming and peaceful town. Even during the covid crisis everyone stayed civil. I feel like Kearney is More organized and civil than More popular cities like Los Angeles Detroit, New York City, and Washington, DC I think Kearney is a good place to grow up in and pretty peaceful

I drive this road often. South Omaha to Ralston. Starts at old fire station at 25th business district to the south. My family owns hardware store on 24th. Goes west to Ralston. H&H Chevrolet is gone at 84th. I live to South. Ends at 96th. Large building on right at 96 is where I used to work at.

My childhood. During the 60s and early 70s I lived across the street from North High. Paxton Blvd to the south which turned into Fontenelle if you traveled west. A very different era💜

Hahaha. I went there once . The Dome Lounge. Otherwise known as the “ DO ME” Lounge because of the late/ early shifts of some nearby factory which would pop up at the bar. Or so I was told by several people.

I lived in that giant school building on the left at 1:30 .. beautiful apartments with vaulted ceilings and overlooking downtown. That street would be alive during college World Series. Good times

This makes me sad. My Mom was from here (Coleman) and went to Sacred Heart school. It was so fun there once. Crossroads (Fantle's for cool clothes) Liilian's at the top of the hill with the mannequin in the upper bow window, Gates, The Boston Store, 3 movie theatres, the bookstore, Playmor to see The Rumbles! Garlands crossing the street at Christmas, Blanden Art Gallery...l hear now thar it's nothing but an empty, violent, meth filled mess, with nothing to do anymore. Just too depressing.
