Yes, they do. When filling etc, when heated it's not as bad but still there 👍

What happens if you let it soak for an hour before lighting? Kinda like a wick in an oil lamp...

Defiantly let it soak for around 10 minutes but leaving it for longer than that, will decrease burn time because of evaporation 👍

It’s platinum catalyst just like in a catalytic converters that makes it smolder an burn the vapors I also use white gas aka camp fuel an Vm&p naphtha that’s pretty much all lighter fluid is I work outside I’ve got a pile of warmers there my go to in the colder days

If you put 12hrs of fuel in and light it, but then decide you don't want it warm anymore after a couple of hours. Can you somehow stop it? Or do you have to leave it to burn out for 12 hrs. Thanks

People say you can put it in a zip lock bag and push out all the air. It should die within a minute or 2

Basically yes, but shout out to @shepherd308 for the idea 🤙 just don’t melt the bag in your pocket

@@shepherd3085 just take the top wick bit off and it's stops the cycle and will go out, then replace the top and it's out

You can actually turn it off by putting it in a sandwich bag and squeezing all the air out of the bag!

Just take the top off and it stops right away, then put it back on and it stays cool untill it's relight
