No game developers ever put this much effort into their stories as Remedy has with Alan wake and control. Both have so many real life actors doing things like this to immerse the player and develop the world
They’re definitely on a different level with storytelling than other developers. I don’t see any other studio that could use the plot “Run down writer goes to town to write book and it turns out to have an evil entity writing the writer’s living nightmare” and turn it into one of the most complex in-depth horror stories in all of gaming.

Some of the shots in this are actually very creative and beautiful. I really like when he's watching the tape of him trashing the room and the camera rotates to show the aftermath of the damage around him. This is so much more than just a promo for the game. This was an incredible experience.
