Imagine, Christ knew the old testament intimately. From a very early age. At what age did he know he was going to the cross? I would imagine he was 11 or 12. Each year he would go up to Jerusalem for the feasts. Each year he would pass by the thieves and murderers hanging on their crosses. It was ever in his face. The fear that must have gripped him in the garden where the first Adam failed the test. Now the bill has come do. He knew from childhood what he must suffer. How much he must love us.

It is obvious that Christ unfortunately had to suffer- both the God and the man had to go through it, both to 'understand it' (not just theoretically, but with the flesh), and to be able to be spiritually 'authorised' to relieve the suffering of all of us.
His story provides comfort during times of trial, exactly because he got down there in the trenches with us, and despite all that, he managed to reach the lowest point (torture, humiliation, betrayal and death), but rise again to eternal life.

One thing I always think about when it comes to the passion is how Jesus and God the Father both must have suffered in a way that isn’t able to be imagined. If they are all good, which they are, then something like spite and bitterness wouldn’t even occur to them. But spite and bitterness are ways in which we often deal with our suffering. It’s cathartic to hate what is hurting you, it helps ease the pain a bit. Which means God and Jesus suffered perfectly, without an ounce of hatred or bitterness or vengeance to sooth them as they witnessed the most tragic thing possible. To be honest it makes the whole thing that much worse, but that much more beautiful I think.

Correct me if you disagree, but as far as I can comprehend, you can't be omnipotent/omniscient/omnipresent AND innocent/ignorant to the concept of malevolence.
Assuming that the linear, dualistic conception of the "source" or "god" that has manifested throughout various religions and practices across the world throughout human history is accurate, then the source of all creation created both good and evil. Where else could it come from? As above so below, right?
But like I said, please correct me if you have some deeper insight than I do.

@@nellkellino-miller7673there is a interesting way to answer that, Saint Augustin was a catholic bishop that pondered a lot about the nature of evil, and the answer he came up with is that in reality evil is like cold or darkness, were it isn't something, but rather the lack of something, just like how cold doesn't exist its just the absence of heat, or darkness is the absence of light, evil is the absence of good, which would mean that God couldn't be evil, because If he was then it would mean he is lacking in something rather than being perfect, i am not super knowledgeable on Augustin and his teachings so you could search him up If you want to find a more deep and fulll explanation his ideas on the nature of evil

How “recent” do you think sex, money and drugs are? This was my earlier point on a different thread. Jordan Peterson sounds good to people who don’t read. When you expand your knowledge you realize that Peterson is saying nothing original. He’s obviously intelligent and eloquent. These ideas have been around since the beginning of human history. He just presents them nicely on RUclips. Sex, drugs and money have been a philosophical issue since Socrates, Plato and Aristotle 2000 years ago.

    • @LARESCIV
      @LARESCIV 2 года назад +1

@@krisweaver7524 You forgot to mention the philosophical Line it actually follows from first, which is Epicurus line.
What I implied is that the culture is very biologized/animalized (YOLO culture), which J.P. actually himself partially helped become too, through never ending affirmations of "evolutionary biology" that humans are animals and how our lower nature is there the way it is and how many times we can't help it but adhere to it rather than to higher values.
Also another reason is that west philosophically almost completely rejects christian/monotheist metaphysics, so all you are left with is scientism type metaphysics where everything there is, is exact material objects, laws of physics and biological evolution.

do you mean “would not be condemned…”?

    • @manateerpg1396
      @manateerpg1396 2 года назад +4

Jesus Christ died so that mankind may be saved. Whoever believed onto Jesus, faith in Jesus, shall have eternal life.
Jesus Christ took upon sin, all sin, past, present, future. Sin was imputed onto Him. He who knew no sin, became sin. And God, in his justice, crushed and killed His Only begotten Son under the full force of His wrath.
      Isaiah 53:10
Yet it was the LORD’s will to crush Him and to cause Him to suffer; and when His soul is made a guilt offering, He will see His offspring, He will prolong His days, and the good pleasure of the LORD will prosper in His hand.
God carried out justice. And because He is a good God, He punished the one who bore our sins. He took our place. The sacrificial lamb.
Jesus Christ has every right to say in
      John 14:6
“I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
Whenever you hear people ask about “why is Jesus is the only way? “ or “You’re so close minded to think Jesus is the only way.” In no other religion or faith, talks about God taking form of a man and died for his people. For all the sins of man and to die for them all.
      John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
So it makes sense for people that do not believe in Jesus Christ to be condemned to hell or as you say ethereal suffering or death.
      John 3:18
Whoever believes in Him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe has already been condemned, because he has not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.

I've just recently happened to come across Dr Jordan Peterson videos . I love how his mind works and he speaks from a wisdom that can only be of God . It speaks to the very core of our souls .
In this video he could be speaking literally of my life and the depths of suffering I've endured . Especially when it's not just one snake but a knock on effect that affected a few generations . I've only been a Christian for nearly 22 years of my nearly 56 years .I've know suffering that has had others say this is too much how did I survive and overcome it . It's only as a Christian do I understand the purpose of my pain and suffering . That yes in this world we will suffer because it's a broken marred world . That in the end all the suffering I've endured isn't forever but the rewards of this are eternal in Christ . I'm a living example of walking in God's healing .

    • @darthimperious1594

I am a Christian, and I, too, have suffered in my life, though not nearly as much as some. I see that my suffering has made me wise, and I've tried to become a better person, but I do say to God sometimes, "Am I wise enough yet? Can I rest for a while?" It's a question I'm not sure I want the answer to. But all I can do is pray that God gives me strength when my own fails.

    • @zarinablanchard4723
      @zarinablanchard4723 2 года назад +7

@@darthimperious1594 Life is precious and it's not about being wiser . No point being wise in one's own eyes . Try and make the best of each day . I've learnt that after the huge traumas I've been through I've met others who I consider have overcome more . It was only in Christ did I understand the generational curses that come down our family blood line . The Bible says that the life is in the blood . Throughout the Bible there's stories for us to look at . You ask for wisdom but then read about king Solomon He was a young boy when crowned king . He asked for wisdom and that pleased God . What did his wisdom afford him . He was a king who in his life time saw that much peace he went on an adventure to find out the meaning of life . He disregarded any warnings and bought in forgien women . He was a man so spoilt that he didn't forsee his down fall .
I believe we have wisdom that comes from experience and wisdom that is of God .
In proverbs it gives great advice on how one should build their life . It applies to the here and now because it's an example just like the many people of the Bible lives are there . We are a blessed generation because now more than any time knowledge is spreading . What knowledge we take in matters because life is a one off exam and time is ticking away . Focus not on the suffering because in Christ we know if it happened to God's only son it will surely happen to us .
I live with a grateful heart because I know where I've been hurt bruised and battered Jesus healed those areas and His power works through us all to help others the same . I've seen more miracles and supernatural power at work in past 22 years . I can see from birth to now how hard the devil's tried to take my life I was disowned by my Muslim family and God called me by name . I was 20 when I had no where to go it's only by God's grace I'm alive . Trust me I tired ending it few times . It's not mine to take . God shoock me up I heard Him say that even if I was on life support because of my selfish acts He will fulfill His purpose on my life . I learnt the hard way so I can help any that come my way . I'm soo sorry you've suffered and I hope and pray you feel the peace of Christ deeply in your heart . May He guide you and make you sensitive to His presence . Those who are called are His . He who promises is true He cannot lie He isn't like us men that He change His mind . He doesn't make mistakes and stand firm and proud knowing that it is a huge privilege to have suffered in this world .
I'd live over and over again for the short 70 to 90 years of suffering for the forever Eternity . Keep your eyes fixed on the perfector of our faith . Till we meet in eternity God bless you .

@@chrisparker2118 Good question friend.. from the perspective of philosophical naturalism, there is nothing mysterious about consciousness at all.. Chalmers popularized the notion of the "hard problem" , perhaps mainly because it seemed hard to him.. Consciousness can simply be viewed as awareness of the environment..Using this more precise definition instead of CONSCIOUSNESS, and aspects of mysticism and superstitions tend to dissolve on their own.. Furthermore a naturalist would eliminate the number of assumptions that CANNOT be observed.. What you are left with, is a smooth upward line on a graph illustrating a direct relationship between an animals level of environmental awareness, and it's so called consciousness.. I make no claim to higher intellectual ground here but that is how a naturalist views it.. Additionally there are very good theories explaining the BEGINNINGS of such awareness..I'm always open to friendly debate friend, without involving any disrespect.. Peace

Lucifer was a high ranking angel, what we would view as a worship leader. He became lifted in pride and wanted to be "like the Most High". He came up with a plan, the first "conspiracy" to accomplish this plan. He convinced a portion of the angels that they could be separated from the Most High and their own god, and they could partake in the pleasures of the flesh and make "images" of themselves both male and female. Thus the "INsurrection" of the "elohiym" and the real story of Genesis 1. Humans, this flesh system was created for the sole purpose to give the angels that kept not their "first" "estate" but left (forsook) their own habitation and have been "reserved" in "everlasting" "chains" until judgement, a second chance, a chance to be REconciled to, REdeemed from, REpurchased by Him who loved us enough to provide a way back to Him. We are all prodigals and we each came into this flesh prison system in our own time, place and rank. The time is coming that believers are waiting for and that is the REsurrection. Can't take part in the REsurrection unless you were part of the INsurrection to "begin" with. The Most High did not create mankind for fellowship and then punish every human with being born in sin and born into death because of what "Adam and Eve" did. We're in this flesh because we all "ate" from the tree of knowledge of good and evil. The devil that deceived us is the god of this world who's spirit lives in each person, when we chose this we became 1 with him. The 2 became 1, think about the towers that fell and were replaced by one, the 2 became 1. That was a ritual mocking the scriptures and mankind as a whole and points us to "the beginning". Hebrew is alpha-numeric and each letter is also a numerical value, as is each word. The first word in scripture translated as "in the beginning" has a numerical value of nine hundred and eleben. No coincidences.

Romans 5.12..through one man, Adam, sin and death began, (entered into the world). Adam disobeyed God and obeyed Satan's direction. God had warned him that if he ate from that certain tree, he would die. Satan said he wouldn't (he had just created him, why would he allow him to die)That serpent was wrong! From then on, Adam and his offspring were alienated from God's protective rule, removed from the garden and the tree of life that was there, and living with a genetic predisposition to sin and error ,and all condemned to die . In his letter To The Romans, Paul explains that source of sin and how all of us including he,himself, must strive against that inborn sinfulness, especially in this wicked world. But he also reveals there, that we can be reconciled to God through our faith in the value of Jesus sacrificial death. Romans 5.6to11
Paul's explanation of this and his confession of personal struggle helps us all to see a way forward through this present darkness...
Romans8.1 ...Therefore those in union with Christ Jesus have no condemnation. For the law of that spirit which gives life in union with him has set you free from the law of sin and death.
God created a world with real consequences, where everything matters. To do so He had to make error and failure possible. As Paul says..For the creation was subjected to futility, not by its own will but through him that subjected it, on the basis of hope that the creation itself also will be set free from enslavement to corruption.
It appears that Adam did not apologize for his error and ask to be forgiven. We can do so for our errors ,based upon God's arrangement for forgiveness of sin which is through faith in Christ Jesus. Ro3.21to26

I'm very picky who I listen to but this great person, just grabs my attention and not only that, actually activates a consciousness. You hear people on Tv, they may grab your attention but are you "actually" listening to them? This man disperses knowledge and insight in a concisely dense manner right away. He would even pause to make sure he has the right thing to say as opposed to pausing to make what you said more valuable. That's real authenticity and my "being" is just picking up on this with this person. This man is onto something great with exposing the realities we live in, even through his own character of God working through him.
I personally think though, this guy should not be exposing any insight to these people working on Artificial Intelligence, it would just give them a stronger deceptive work to extort chaos on the understandings of the true realities God has designed.

knows the gospel that saves them. These use￾less phrases don’t describe a thing about what
the gospel is and has left a devastating effect
of people not knowing what it is that they are
saved from nor how they are saved; which
leaves a more serious effect of people ques￾tioning their salvation.
Let’s not muddy the simplicity of salva￾tion that is in Christ with vague church
sounding phrases that do not communicate
anything. But rather present God’s word with
clarity and assuredness. So here is the gospel:
    plain and simple.
Sin was passed upon all men by one man
Adam, and death is a consequence of this sin
(Rom 5:12). Mankind has an eternal destiny of
condemnation and wrath - Hell - because of
this sin (Rom 6:23). No matter what good
works one might do we are still found sinners
in the sight of our Creator God. And all un￾righteousness and those who follow get in￾dignation and wrath. We cannot be found
righteous for by God’s law we are found sin￾ners (Rom 3:19-20). If we have broken even
one law we are found guilty.
It is for this reason of not being able to
create our own righteousness and being born
in a sinful flesh that we need a savior (Titus
3:5). Christ is that Savior, God manifested in
the flesh, sinless, died in our place on a cross
2000 years ago. Taking upon him the wrath
and judgement that was intended for us sin￾ners. And it is through his bloodshed, burial,
and resurrection on our behalf that we are
able to have peace with God and forgiveness
of our sins (1 Cor 15:1-4, Col 3:14). This good
news is unto all but only those that believe in
it are made righteous in Christ (Romans
    3:22).
It is then after we have heard this good
news of Christ’s righteousness available to us freely, that we are sealed with the Holy Spirit
and we are now part of Christ’s body the
    church (Eph 1:13)
There is nothing that we need to do, no
good works that are required, and no bad
works that can separate us from our new po￾sition in Christ (Romans 8:35-39).
Faith and belief in this information from
    God’s word is the gospel.
The gospel is not accepting Jesus into your
heart. The gospel is not making him lord of
your life, it is not saying a prayer and it is not
    being baptized with water.
So next time someone asks you if you are
saved. Give them the clear assured answer
“Yes! And let me tell you why!”

So the whole thing about the crucifixion is is that in the biblical sense the heavenly father purposely created impregnated Mary with a son for the sole purpose of doing so so Jesus was forgotten by the heavenly father by pregnant impregnating Mary with him with Jesus to be sacrificed he was literally created for that purpose and supposedly saving us from damnation for our sins so it wasn't like he had some other purpose to sole purpose of the crucifixion was to save us from our sins so we wouldn't burn in hell forever that's the reason why Jesus existed is it not so tells you something about the morality of that one huh

The Padre is correct when he talks about the Resurrection being central to the Passion. But so is forgiveness. No one is immune from suffering but the worst suffering is self-inflicted; hate. Hate is corrosive to the soul and over time will consume you. Forgiveness is the medicine and like many medicines may seem bitter but in the end it is necessary:
“When you hate, the only person who suffers is you because those you hate probably don't know, and those who do, don't care.” ― Medgar Evers

Or you can ignore me and go find out yourself, that's what I did, and I was a christian all my life before that, all you have to do, is fold your hands, pray, and ask anything and everything you've ever wanted to ask, of course be respectful and realize this is not a game, if you think it is and you think your smart, and you think I'm lying, or you think I'm some bible basher I challenge you.
Go the full mile, do it yourself, see if Jesus and God are real, you don't have to sell your soul to Jesus and God to meet them.
Set the intention in your heart, if you find yourself thinking sometime, hmmm I really wonder if all these wacky christianity people are saying is true, then in your head right there as you've asked it, think to yourself, in your head, Dear Lord(out of respect you ask the Lord anything you want to ask of God)/Dear God please if you are real, or if Christianity is real, please prove it to me.
Watch, wait and listen carefully, the sings will be there, if Jesus and God have decided to bless you with such knowledge.
I myself, have a sorrowful story, 25 years of pure fucking misery on this earth, I've broken most if not every commandment, and probably done every conceivable wrong/sin possible except rape /murder, and I met Jesus, I SAW God with my own eye, I had covered the other one because I was too scared to peek with both, not only that, I spend a good two/three nights in consistent communication with the spirit of God.
I also have been smoking weed(12) and playing videogames(5)basically all my life, been a complete lazy depressed, anxious grumpy negative slob, and kind of still am, but I'm a lot better of than others.

Maybe go back to the Gospel of Thomas ? Where Jesus is responsible for murder ? The strange part is that the gnostics to accept Jesus. Yet the church in Constantinople in 1001 commit genocide upon the gnostics hardest text and then call it fiction. Except for some parts of course... you know the necessary control pieces. And what for centuries they end up worshipping Cesar Borgia as a Jesus image ? There are two facts about the cult of Aberham an this includes Catholics, Jews, Muslims, and Christians. There is an unbelievable amount of blood on your hands. There is no unbelievable amount of corruption, disillusion, collusion and down right underhanded Behavior. I've known quite a few from the Church of Satan. The strange part is that there are the most considerate concern well-read and decent people I've met in this world. And I had to be ordained Buddhist to marry my ex-wife. So a lot like the "not beautiful" comment ? Whereas we can all accept the fact that anything that brings life into this world is actually beautiful regardless... and not just respecting the fact that I believe you are very talented doctor in a very talented speaker ? You tend to be persuaded by a side of outright lunacy. And in some cases end up being a shill for it ! Because I don't believe and you don't believe Penguins migrated to the Middle East to get on a doomed boat ride from God. Nor do you believe in creationism if somehow you needed to fit 56 million animals on a boat ? And that boat would have to be bigger than the size of Rhode Island. Noah himself would have to be 50 ft tall to steer it. And of course it doesn't say farts because anything scientific at the time was related to carpentry or the science of building. All well an fine. I see the intention from the heart. So I might consider that very irrational from a psychiatrist

The worst possible tragedy is Christ suffering at the end of his life? He had to be crucified to forgive people of their sins (what an illogical action to cause that to occur). He probably knew he wouldn't suffer in the afterlife, the suffering lasted only a few days. Compare that with a kid who lives in a war torn area. The father is killed while he is working in a field, her older brother went off to fight and is in a prison camp, her mother was raped while she had to watch, and she was sold into sex trafficking where she suffered for decades while being forced to stay alive and being traumatized every day and likely in a severe amount of pain. All while getting diseases, being freezing cold or unbearably hot, having mosquitoes eat you alive, starving due to lack of food provided. That is much worse than Christ on the cross. If Christianity is true, I want nothing to do with God, he ultimately allows the world to be as evil as it is. And I won't be with the devil, perpetuating evil. Should I fight the devil in the afterlife, what's the point? Apparently, God wants him to be powerful, and I'm sick to death of Gods stupid game of life and making people suffer. If the Christian God exists, I want him to permanently destroy my soul so I cease to exist. After decades of inner psychological torture that I have endured, I know that being created was a curse, not a blessing.

All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. -Romans 3: 23
The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. -Romans 6: 23
Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. -John 14: 6
Whoever believes in Jesus has eternal life, but whoever rejects Jesus will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on them. -John 3: 36

@@adamsanchez222 You have much to learn about scripture and of yourself, my friend. I asked God what separates us from him. And to my surprise, the answer was communicated immediately. It is our will that separates us from God and it is our will that brings us back to Him. The letter aleph has a upper yud that represents the father above and the lower yud represents the son (us) below. The vav separates the upper yud from the lower yud, however, it also connects the upper yud to the lower yud. So, the line of separation is simultaneously the line of connection. So, our will separates us from Him but simultaneously connects us back to Him.
My favorite verse is when Christ says if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain move from here to there and it will move and nothing will be impossible to you. A mustard seed is the smallest of seeds, so how can it move a mountain? Here's how. It never forgets its a mustard seed. It knows its a mustard seed and will take root and grows into a large tree in some of the harshest environments, never forgetting what it is. We must remember who we are. That's how we are saved. Recognizing and understanding that we are the center of the heart of the Creator.

@@chrisparker2118 Hey Chris, I appreciate your thoughtful reply.
You believe the scriptures? That's wonderful. We cannot pick and choose what scriptures we like and do not like. Nor can we manipulate them to say something other than what they say. I will give some statements and verses that plainly say those things.
Jesus is God (John 1:1, John 1: 14).
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. -John 1:1
The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. -John 1: 14
      Jesus is truth (John 14:6).
Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. -John 14: 6
There is only one Jesus (John 3: 13, John 3: 16)
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. -John 3: 16
No one has ever gone into heaven except the one who came from heaven-the Son of Man. -John 3: 13
Only Jesus can save you from death in your sins (Acts 4: 11-12).
Jesus is “’the stone you builders rejected, which has become the cornerstone.’ Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.” -Acts 4: 11-12
We have no power on our own and can do nothing outside of Christ Jesus (John 15: 5)
“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. -John 15: 5
I love you Chris, but if you don't put your faith in Jesus Christ alone, then you are not saved according to the Bible and you will perish. But I believe God loves you and He is patient with us. God wants all of us to repent of our sins, trust in Jesus Christ and receive eternal life.
The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance. -2 Peter 3: 9
I hope you can see that I am not competing with you, I only want you to know the truth, that faith in Jesus Christ is the only way to the Father. I hope the Lord will open the eyes of your heart to know this.
God bless you and keep you.

@@adamsanchez222 My friend, I am not trying to change what is written in scripture. However, there is more to the words in scripture than what is read at a superficial level. Even the individual letters themselves have a deep meaning that cannot be understood when simply reading them literally. For instance, the letter bet means in, inside, and house. Genesis begins with the letter bet. This is extremely important to understand, because it implies that creation starts inside which helps understand the tree bearing fruit whose seed is within itself. This tree bears the fruit of consciousness which flows from with in (singularity of the seed) to the with out (expanse of the fruit). Jesus said he is the alpha and the omega. Most take this as the beginning and the end. Which is true, but it holds a deeper meaning which is the flow of consciousness from the singularity of alpha to the expanse of omega. O-mega means expanse, vastness. Elohim, which is a masculine plural, also represents the expanse which is why Elohim parts the seas. The seas are vast and expansive. This is the flow of consciousness from the seed of the individual mind (thought) to the fruit of words and action. This is also represented by the mark on the forehead (thought) and the mark on the right hand (action). Since we are created in the image of Him, this is how consciousness flows from the oneness (seed) of the Creator to the all encompassing allness of creation (fruit). The word Torah even comes from a root word that means to flow.
Also, when the letters of the first verse of Genesis of properly paired, the form what's called the two-torus. Inside the two-torus is a vortex that can be called the flame of consciounsess. This toroidal vortex draws every letter of the Hebrew aleph-bet. So, the letters of the first verse of Genesis creates a form that creates the letters themselves, giving a whole new understanding of the tree bearing fruit whose seed is within itself. You can look up Stan Tenen's work with the Meru foundation to have a better explanation of the toroidal vortex flame of consciounsess. He has some videos on YT which give great insight. There is so much that can be said that I just don't have a good medium to use to give a very clear explanation. Everything is interconnected and related and truly understanding one thing requires understanding a whole host of other things to get the whole picture. But it can all be summed by one simple truth: As above, so below. And as below, so above. This leaves us smack dab in the middle as the living, beating, heart of God.

It's interesting that 666 is often associated with evil, considering that it is such a harmonious and naturally ubiquitous sequence of numbers. Nature tends to arrange itself in threefold and sixfold geometry. The hexagon is one of the most stable geometric shapes in nature, while the pentagon is also associated with satan. Why would a god of "good" design the universe such? I think I'm missing something here. If anyone has any insight into this from either a mathematical or esoteric/occult perspective I would really appreciate it...
