I hope Wes is more appreciative and humble now. His fans were soo dedicated and kind that they sang just about the whole song for him. I'd hope he actually appreciates them and treats them well.
I’m sure he does. A common misconception about addiction is that the individual doesn’t care, but really they’re just under the power of something else that makes them behave and act in ways they normally wouldn’t. Of course it’s always on the individual to get help, but addicts need to be viewed more as victims instead of getting stigmatised. It’s scary what addiction does to the brain, it’s literally wired to continue seeking more of the drug constantly
