    One of the things I notice, is sometimes the other people in my dreams are lucid, but the person dreaming isn't. Alot of my demon friends in my dreams really seem like they're able to be aware of themselves and the dream more often, but the headparts dreaming have to 'get lucid', the last successful reality check in a dream, happened from picking up a lit candle and not getting burned.

      @@DanielLoveOrg I do have a question regarding wild. hope you can provide some insight.
      when I'm doing the maintained awareness. after I normaly slept and for a normal morning nap... and I lay down and feel semi tired. I struggle to sleep. even tho I'm tryna keep calm and relaxed.
      I remember you said something on a live stream about you " thought you had insomnia and where about to get up to get a cup of tea or coffee.. and then bam lucid dream" can you please elaborate and explain. how you had a lucid dream. in the maintained awanenss style even tho you felt like you couldnt sleep. as don't you need to go to sleep to perform maintained awareness correctly but if you felt you couldnt sleep.. it's just baffling to me.
      would help if you could answer bless.

    I've been reading 'Man and His Symbols' by C.G. Jung and his colleagues and this video couldn't have had a more perfect timing! The process of recognizing one's own unconscious as part of a holistic Self is actually also something that Jung teaches as 'individuation', if I've understood it correctly. But it seems you already know that yourself. Dream interpretation plays a big part in that, which you also bring out in this video.
    Great video! More of this, please :)

    So thought provoking. More of this Daniel! I was thinking of meditation where we become aware of an unconscious process - is that a signal to our unconscious part that we are curious about how we tick and want to know more? I’ve had two experiences of “daydreams" during meditation which have been very powerful in learning how I got to where I am. I’m starting to think that they were actually lucid dreams and now I know more perhaps I could get more out of them should I get one again. It’ll be a long wait - only two in ten plus years of daily meditation.
    You have really got me thinking Daniel and you’re making dreaming a much more ‘spacious’ experience - to use some meditation terminology. Right on. 😊

      I wish there were clear answers to questions like this, but we're very much still exploring a frontier. My best advice is to explore, learn, but also to be cautious in drawing firm conclusions. But part of the fun is that we get to adventure within a still unsolved mystery.

    This explains a lot in terms of my observations with a particular dreamling who I've been asking questions to. I have trouble thinking outside of the "black and white" areas (I know there's a term for this, but my brain is sluggish from being a bit sick to remember) so I've always just assumed that dreams were purely unconscious and running kind of in the background while the conscious rested. It never really occurred to me that both are heavily connected together, although it makes sense (especially when assumptions are factored in). It's something that I wish I would have connected together sooner, but hey, now I know!
    Back to this dreamling - he's been really vague when I've asked him questions regarding the unconscious and how he factors into it. I've had a bit of "the unconscious is this mythical thing" approach, hoping that he would give me some insights, but, like I said, he's been vague, only really saying that I know a few things already or "I don't know." From this new perspective, of course I wouldn't be getting anything substantial from him that's "new" information! Granted, I still want to ask him a few questions (he's based off of a character I made and reused for around 10 years), but I've been going about it in the wrong way. I have to observe instead of taking things at face value.
    Great video that took me a few watches to (hopefully) understand, but it was a great lesson! Loving these deeper topic videos!

    my dreams are very dark with demons, and Death and even panic attacks. maybe my Subconcious is telling me to face my deepeste darkest fears, or just it tells me to stop panicking so much and let it go. there's also very personal stuff i dream about where i feel guilty or get very sad (some of the stuff is about grieving processes, so losing family is very painfull to me, i cant get over it, or that is with the dreaming subconcious me is trying to say i guess). also there's this theme about moving to a new home thats too big for me or gets very messy very quickly. if the dream is about dinosaurs i dont have to ask myself later when i wake up why i dreamed about dinosaurs in a musuem as i'm a dinosaur obsessed so its very normal when i dream about those big prehistoric animals.
    if there is one thing i dont understand, and i dont know if its subconcious or just my brain trying to process some movies, is dreams that revolve around slime, blood, poop and other gross out stuff. maybe its because i have a fear of grossness. and a bathroom in my dreams is very shitty; like extremely unsettling. i havent been lucid for a while but i think the next Lucid Dream, whilst i definitely going to fly (now its a common habit when i'm lucid) i'm also gonna look at the environment and trying to guess what the dream represents and if its a dream about future events or just some things my brain is trying to tell me to process.
    as for Lucid Dreaming how it goes, very badly. i hadn'nt been lucid for a month now (or maybe two months) but i think this has to do with three problems : sleep schedule is all over the place so sometimes i have nightmares were i wake up in the middle of the night, other times i dont dream at all (sorry, i mean, not remembered it because my mind was fuzzy). another problem is beeing lazy and slacking with my Dreamjournal. usually it was at least two or three pages, when i'm lucid its usualy around four pages, and i even loved to sketch. and third problem is that in the daytime i dont do reality checks too much and when i do them i do it on autopilot whenever something weird is going on or i feel like its strange to have coincidental things happen (like familiar faces that i see three or four times in the same day or hour and i'm like "wait, what is happening?! this cant be real!" and then going on autopilot and reality test (nose pinch and looking at my hands and sometimes also reading from a distance with and then without glasses, putting them on again and knowing already its going to be the same lol. why i dont have luck with Lucid dreaming out of the three things i mentioned, i think the bad sleeping schedule (thats all over the place!) might be the biggest problem. forgetting or getting lazy to write much in my journal can be because i lay down on my side when writing to feel comfortable and warm but thats the biggest problem : i fall asleep with my dreamjournal open so some hours later i totally forgot the dream (unless i written some stuff down). there also moments were the dream is too complex and weird to write it in a journal because i dont know how to word a weird complex abstract dream.
    anyway, as always a good video were i am writing a novel in the comment section (i need to stop that, i'm guilty of huge texts, i was never good at talking small and to the point lol) and the context is very interesting.

    Great video as always
    In the case of simplification, I thought of the part of the Feynman technique where you test your understanding of something by trying to simplify the language when describing it, but as you pointed out, you have to walk a thin line in know how far you can simplify it without oversimplifying

    • @DanielLoveOrg
      @DanielLoveOrg  2 дня назад +2

      Absolutely, it's a lot like making videos - every video requires some kind of simplification to condense ideas - in the hope that people realise language is a low resolution tool for a high resolution universe.

    these days every time i get lucid in a dream i directly talk to a friend nearby and tell him how does he feels, it's just awkward silence with sad face, then he says "remember me" and the dream ends, i think it all came from rick and morty's episode reference about memory rick lol ( season 5 episode 8 if u wonder)

    I have an unrelated question. A friend of mine sent me an article that talks about communication between dreamers in a lucid dream. I did a 30 second research and I have seen there are many articles about it but all say it isn't confirmed. Do you think it is something serious or simply twaddle?

    • @DanielLoveOrg
      @DanielLoveOrg  2 дня назад +1

      There have been some studies using eye movements for communicating, but of course that very limited bandwidth. Not entirely twaddle, but entirely impractical.
      Edit: Found the source of the article you mention, not something I'd take seriously.

    Very inspiring and informative video… I do like your idea to move past simplicity and realize the intricate structure of the mind.
    This can go really deep. For ex. I have a re-occurring “helper” that will join and guide me thru my more longer and more intense lucid dreams, and I understood you also have had reoccurring characters as well. This might be a good topic for another video…. I’m still trying to determine to what degree this Being is doing in the background, if anything, to help me become more lucid.
    As you probably know, Waggoner also popularized the idea of talking to the “Awareness Behind the Dream” by just addressing the dream rather than dream characters themselves. I’ve had a lot of success with this as well. I know in your last stream someone tried to label his work twaddle but I disagree… a lot of this is just a matter of semantics. And to be frank, he is a part of the 40 year club so I would not diminish his insights… cause there’s not that many of us around, right? 😉

    I rewatched the video once more and I am a little bis sad that thing are the way they are. I had a lucid dream over 2 years ago, where a dream character came to me and said, that she has a message from my subconscious mind. I should not put me down all the time, because it is not good for me. It felt so good to think that there is some subconscious identity inside me that want to help me. But when I understood the video correctly it seems that is has less meaning than i thought.

    • @DanielLoveOrg
      @DanielLoveOrg  2 дня назад +4

      Not necessarily! The point isn’t that you can’t connect with meaningful aspects of your mind, but rather that it’s more complex than simply 'talking to the subconscious.' It's like visiting Paris-you can't talk to the city itself, but you can engage with many different people (philosophers, mathematicians, bakers, etc.), each with unique perspectives. Similarly, your mind has many processes at work, and while you can gain insights through lucid dreaming, it’s not a single voice but a symphony of different functions working together.
      A useful and inspiring answer is still useful and inspiring, even if its source isn't "Paris" itself, but a citizen.
      The idea here is to keep a perspective that reflects the complexity of the mind, and to not be satisfied with simple explanations.

    I love this vid i have always wanted to talk to my subconscious but since Im new to lucid dreaming I struggle to get lucid so i have questions
    1:when doing reality check through out the day do i need to have this thought to always remember to do reality checks and how long do have to do it
    2:what is the best time to sleep for lucid dreaming and the best time for morning naps
    3:what is the best mindset for lucid dreaming practice
    4:how do i combine mild with wild
    5:dose focusing on lucid dreaming practices through out the day and nights increases chances of lucidity
    6: lastly for mild when i set the intention to remember my dream i wake up somtimes times remembering it sometimes dont but when i set the intention to remember to recognize that im dreaming i dosnt work while also imagining i got lucid in that dream so could you explain the reason why it doesn’t work because i feel like im doing something wrong
    If you could answer the questions i will be forever grateful

    Castaneda wrote that I should say my intention out loud in a dream, e.g. that I want to see energy, i.e. what I can't change in a dream, something that has its own energy. Then I should ask this energy if it is a being (entity), and if it says yes, ask it to take me into its world. How much sense does that make, if the entities in the dream are projections of my repressed traumas or something else?

    • @DanielLoveOrg
      @DanielLoveOrg  2 часа назад

      No sense, but then Castaneda's books are works of fiction (and proven to be so). So it's a bit like being worried that Harry Potter contradicts modern physics. Both are great inspiring works of fiction, but expecting them to reflect the reality of the world is definitely a step too far.
      I recommend reading:
