What a beautiful captured of nature; birds, butterflies, the open spaces of the countryside, ducks, beautiful lake!!! Thanks for sharing. Your new friend ❤❤
Another great video and you're getting close to your goal! I just got a good photo of a ruby throated hummingbird after months of trying! such beautiful little birds! Happy birding!
Oh, very nice. I used to live somewhere with a backyard where I'd get the occasional Ruby.. of course, I didn't have such good photo equipment back then... and now I'm in an apartment lol. Thanks for watching 👍
We had flamingos in Wisconsin yesterday. I didn't get there to see them, hoping they re-appear for another glimpse. I've been watching your progress. I'm up to 238 - Wisconsin List. It's getting harder to find new ones, but the warblers are moving. Last weekend was super birdy. I enjoy the videos.
I heard about that. Some also seen in Michigan. What a great sighting for those areas. Hope you get to see them. Have you set yourself a target? I remember you saying you'd initially like to double last year's, but that it might be a stretch.
@@BritHikesOntario I did drop my target from 325 (crazy goal) to 230 WI birds. I reached that goal and have set the new goal to 250. I think I will get close, fingers crossed. Missed my chance with the flamingos, they were sighted one more time in the middle of the state, but haven't been seen since (at least in WI). Happy birding!
Hey Rick, we have seen a Spruce Grouse at Algonquin. Up until this video we haven't seen a Ruffed Grouse, yet. But in an upcoming video, we do go looking for one.

Digging the Muir Woods shirt.

I really liked the video. I have seen 213 species of birds on my life list.
Nice work, hope you continue to enjoy your birding journey!
You need to visit the Dingman construction wetland. Right off the 401. Lots of shore birds last time I was there.
Thanks for the recommendation, hadn't come across that one.
Wouldn't your Painted lady have been an American lady ( Vanessa virginiensis ) ?
That was my first thought. Think I put a pic of it on a forum somewhere to confirm, and they said Painted. Probably an American, though. Ah well 😆
Have you got a
grouse yet for your 250 birds?
I seen four country chickens a few days on my property 😊
Good video your getting close to your number.
