    I'm going to work on making brushes :) I love when a great artist explaines his thought process while teaching. He's a true professional. I've been trying out a lot of Kyle's brushes but there is so much. I try and draw at least 5 hours a day during work breaks and after work then on the weekends my screen time is so bad lol. Great video though always looking forward to learning more about fresco and brushes.

    Love your work!
    Quick question on importing Photoshop brushes into Fresco. It seems that all of the ones I import disappear from the libraries when I restart the app. Have you experienced this problem? They seem to be there when I'm offline, but when I get back on the internet they are gone again. Since you a power user on the app, I thought I'd ask.
    It seems to be a common problem among people from what I've saw on the Adobe Community forums. Just wondering if you've had any similar issues. I love Fresco, but this issue is driving me a bit nuts at the moment and Adobe doesn't seem to have a fix.
    Thanks for all the tips! I always look forward to your vids.

    • @chris-piascik

      Thanks so much! To be honest I’ve never had that issue. And I’m using brushes I imported every day.

    Great video! Do you have any tips on choosing colors that are safe for CMYK print since Fresco does not have CMYK as a color mode? I finally get my colors where I like them only to have them ruined when I take it over to Photoshop/Illustrator to make it CMYK for print purposes. I can't seem to find a good video about this issue.

    • @cheyneburns2199
      @cheyneburns2199 8 месяцев назад +1

      Hello. I don't have any resources handy because I haven't done colour critical work for a long time, but I had to deal with RGB supplied artwork all the time for CMYK printing.
      It's a bit of a skill to get colours "right" from RGB to CMYK because you are removing a lot of colour information. You can adjust it in Photoshop and eyeball it, otherwise there used to be apps and websites where you could plug in a RGB value to get a "close enough" option.
      If you are working with print, a colour calibrated monitor paired with a printer at home goes a long way to colour choice success. Otherwise find a printer who is cool to work with and get proofs before you pull the trigger on a job.

    • @chris-piascik
      @chris-piascik  8 месяцев назад +1

      Some colors/hues can be tricky for this. It’s a bit more complicated than I can explain easily in a comment, but I’ll add it to my video list!

    • @chris-piascik

      This is pixel based (except for 1 thing, but that was just to get around a clipping issue… which sounds confusing, but I talk about it in the video).
