The reason for the chain to bend like that is because they put 4 links in backwards for the ptfe tube to come out. Just reverse those links and your cable chain will be perfect.
Yea I had messed with a couple of those. I actually kept a couple the other way because it makes sure that it will push up against the side when it swipes. after this video I did flip a couple more but not all of them are flipped. I noticed some of the clips were cut and some wernt so its interesting why then had a human flush cut them instead of just having them printed that way. I did use your deisgn for the gantry clips. I would recomend if possible to round out the center hole where the bowden tube is in so it allows it to flex a bit more and move back and fourth as needed. Otherwise I have been happy with your design.
I’ll look into a redesign, in the time being you could try the side clips that already have with all those properties you mentioned. I would recommend my side clip closed v2. Thanks, enjoy!!
what if you extend the length of the base link that attaches to the print head? maybe a cm longer so that it moves the chain further away from the head. just an idea.
My Sunlu S2 is dead silent with the fan running. Nice mods.
those screws in the bag are for belt tensioning. ive been using an eibos easdry filiment dryer and run the included bowden ttube into my sensor.
Thank you for reminding me about what those are. I will admit when I got this I used those for the door handle lol.
For better guiding the cablechain: Look at printables for "Creality K1 Fibonacci for cable duct"
GOOD ONE!!!! I def like that. If someone doesn't have a zip tip I will recommend this if they're doing this kind of mod.

Try the Orca Silcer it works great with k1, with a lot more Features
I know I know I know. Everyone in the creality discord group keeps telling me to root it. Maybe eventually I will.
Are you screwing into the glass
are you talking about the bracket to relocate the runout sensor?
the side panels are not glass only the front door. the sides are a plexi
I believe the screws go "through" the side panels and not "into" the side panels, just a mater of semantics.
I hate creality's engineering team for this design. absolutely terrible
