Today, I test out the @GoodwinRacing1 Spec Feal 441 Road Race Coilovers on the @fcpeuro Proving Grounds Course at Lime Rock Park. Lime Rock is definitely an awesome track. In this video, I was on the smaller proving grounds course they have in the middle of the big track. OUTSTANDING VIDEO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Seams to me like you are getting more and more comfortable in front of the camera as your voice is far less choppy (for lack of better words). I really felt for you buddy with the drone as I got real sick one time videoing while flying in a small plane. (It was HORRIBLE!!!) 10 OUT OF 10!!! Keep it Up! Best Always and in ALL WAYS!!!

Given the choice to buy now a set for one of the best up to $1500 between the feal 441 8k/5k, the fortune 500 8k/6k, the bc racing ds 8k/6k and the tecnas 9k/6k from949 racing , which one would you pick and in what order would you put the rest?

I thought about the Feal coilover for my 02 Miata, but did not seem like many people were using them. So I played it safe and went with FM V-maxx xxtreme sports with the sway bars. My car is more, DD but given the chance I would enjoy to do some track days. Being my first Miata and only one I have been in, have to live with choice now and enjoy !
Those are popular for a good reason though! Flyin Miata knows what they are doing. I drove a car with the FM V-Maxx classics and they rode really nice. Those V-Maxx Xtreme’s will handle track days no problem. Get out there and try it out!
I have the same sentiments about the rear as you. Mine are AMAZING… aside from that dang slammed height. I’d like to adjust it a bit more in the front to match. I’ve had them for maybe 8 months now.

Unrelated question here, have you ever run lightweight pulleys on any of your Miatas and if so what brand?
Whatever you do just don't buy a lightweight crankshaft pulley. You want to keep your harmonic balancer. Very important. Or else crank harmonics will hit a frequency and amplify out of control without a damper. What happens is the oil pump gear shatters, instant drop in oil pressure and engine goes dead.
If you want a better looking crank pulley then get either a fluidampr or a ATI super damper. There's one other brand that makes good ones but it's a little less known than those two. It costs the same as them as well. You can't go wrong with the Fluidampr though. Very good product and the powder coat finish lasts unlike the ATI super damper.
Summary of story. DO NOT buy those cheap "lightweight crank pulleys" no matter what benefits they try to sell you on lol
Oil pump longevity is more important. And I'm not kidding you can blow up the oil pump gear in the middle of the first track day or autocross without a working harmonic damper.
OEM damper is plenty good unless you're revving higher than 7400RPM OR running more than 280whp. If you're going beyond either of those things then you want a fluidampr. Makes the engine run like a sowing machine hehe
But the water pump pulley, whatever else, sure shiny pulleys look good but there's not much more benefits with them beyond visual aesthetics

😬 The diff puts a smile on my face from ear to ear! Haha we just got out of his E92 M3 and hopped in the Miata, so it probably felt underwhelming 😂. I bet he’d love it if he drove it though!
