  • In this video, we install and review Meister R Sportive coilovers on my 93 Mazda Miata. For a daily-driven Miata, I think these are the best.

    I've had the same coilovers on my weekender '96 for a year now and they have been great. I ride them lowered to their max and have had no issues. The ride compared to the previous owners maxppeedingrods is night and day.

    Nice to finally see a video covering these coilovers! Have you noticed a reduction in body roll over stock? I know they aren’t meant for track use but it would be nice to eliminate some of that roll while sitting nice and low

      Thanks for watching! Exactly why I made the video lol. Most definitely a reduction in body roll. Like you said though, not full track stuff so there is a bit of roll but not nearly as much as stock.

    I have a pair of the same coilovers, very oem+. Rides comfy but I’m pretty low. Unfortunately I had got 15x8+35 with some 205/50r15 and I rub quite often. I definitely need to pull the fenders but I did shave the bumper tabs

      How’re they riding? Looking for some coilovers for my 91. Used to run teins on my 93, starting from scratch on a new bone stock 91.

    How low was the front in the video? Was that the highest adjustability?

    • @washedup4244
      @washedup4244  Год назад

      Both the front and rear were as low as you could go in this video

    Wheel and tire setup/specs in this vid? and did you roll your fenders

    • @washedup4244

      In this video I was running 15x8 0 offset with unrolled or pulled fenders. Shortly after I had the fenders rolled and pulled by someone who knew what they were doing and it stilled rubbed quite a bit in the rear. I have since switched to 15x7 +13 and have no issues at all now. If you plan on running 15x8 0 definitely expect to pull the fender quite a bit.
