- We're finally here... It's time to face the ULTIMATE Art of Fighting 2 rage boss, Geese Howard, after already suffering through the arcade mode. I gotta tell you guys... Geese definitely made me want to quit playing too. But alas, I know you guys love to watch my suffering. What did you think of him!? Have you guys played against him before?

AOF2 is SNK boss syndrome the game,every fight is like an endurance round the AI is busted in that game.
True,but a few characters resort to patterns.Ryo and Yuri spring to mind.
in case you're wondering how you lost:
Everytime Geese did his jump in he was getting a little closer. A little bit closer so that his jump in would actually hit. If you can get him from half screen, then you can anti-air him, back up a pixel, anti-air, Rinse, Lather, repeat until he dies.
However: If he DOES hit you on the jump in..................
Game over ! Lol
Geese is always going to be my favorite Boss in any fighting game. He's just a savage.

Mine too, Geese has always been my favorite fighting game boss, he's such a BOSS, lol. There's something so badass about a mafia kingpin who isn't some greasy overweight guy just issuing orders to his goons, but a dude who is instead actually a badass martial arts master.

Here he is, imo (not counting the exploits) the hardest SNK boss I've faced. Permanent PTSD from this game and when he returned in Neowave.
Would love to see this look and stage return in KoF XV.

That Double KO made no sense since Justin hit Geese first, but after looking it over a few times, I realized what happened. It looks like AOF2 calculates someone being KO-ed not by their health reaching 0 numerically, with the health meter simply being a visual representation (see: The Killing Blade, where Justin was deemed KO-ed a couple of times without the meter being fully depleted), but by the health meter itself actually being fully depleted. Because of that, even though King's Venom Strike hit Geese first, the fact that he had more health meant that his meter didn't fully deplete before King got hit with the Reppuken, which resulted in both of their health meters depleting at the same exact time. That's so messed up.
Despite this game cheating. It rewards you with extra health, extra meter, and a super if you complete the bonus stages(yes all of those in one arcade). I am surprised Justin never noticed that.

Young Geese throws hands, he's so much more aggressive.
Just jump straight up instead of jumping forward when he does a Reppuken. Geese usually walks right up to you, giving you a free throw.

Hi justin, its easy to beat the game even on its hardest sitting. All you have to do is to throw your opponent than do 2 fire balls and it will get dizzy. Just do it agin and agin. Another way is to select jhon and keep doing the move down up B and it will hit every time.

SNK became too soft. It shows in the main boss and the main boss of KoF 14 too.
Just imagine if geese is like this for all other Fatal fury games and such. Terry would just die before he can even land a punch 💀

It's the exact same method, except he does a shitload more damage. Level 8 and 4 on old snk fighters are the same, except for damage. Another small difference is that at level 4 the first fight or 2 start easier. At 8 they start hard from fight 1.

@@h.m.5724 almost all fighters. Even in games like metal slug, you get mostly the same difficulty except the enemies become more sponge.
Simple example, let's say real bout fatal fury special. Level 4 and 8 are the same ai (except on 4 it takes a couple rounds to get that difficult).
Difference is that a super on level 4 does normal super damage. The same super at level 8 will leave you at chip death.

It's useless to talk about difficulty levels when talking about AOF2.
Justin, try this tactic, jump the reppuken, run and grab him, the fireball and repeat the process
The process is run and grab then fireball, cuz Geese will be dizzy after the first process
@@mako6531 I learned that trick back in 1994. It works as almost every character, too! If the throw isn't teched it's a guaranteed stun, but if they tech it then they only get the fireball hit

Wow! That's no easy feat how did you even get up to him? Art of Fighting 2 has got to be the hardest 2D fighting game of all time. I've owned the AES cart for over 20 years and not been able to get to Geese.
Ai patterns? It's just like the old sf2 games on hardest, you just keep repeating the same shit. That shit is different depending on the character you're facing.
You should play Ragnagard on neo geo, the boss is lucifer... I've never fought a boss so hard!

Aof2 cpu always gets dizzy after getting successfully thrown and followed up with a projectile. After which you give do your death blow move. In king case Double strike. Keep baiting the buzzsaw for the throw
