If UNKNOWN ever comes to the main series I want it to still use the 1st gen Rath shape. It's not a Rath, even though it resembles them, so using a more skinny and in comparison much more uncanny body would really give the impression that something is terribly off when you encounter it. Basically like stumbling upon an alternate (for those who know Mandela catalogue). Lanky neck, thin wings, mismatched tail and head, disproportionate and possibly even misshapen claws. Just looking at it would just feel like something's wrong.
It's super cool and I'd like to see it added to a spinoff title like Rise, although I don't think something like this would fit into a mainline game because it weighs too heavily into the fantasy side of MH.

It takes the appearance of a rathian. But is not actually one. It's a mystery to the guild and they don't even classify it as anything. It's that powerful. Rivaling most elder dragons. Or even beyond them. But yes, we are aware of its existence, it's one of the most popular monster from Frontier
@@elderraspic308 it's a fun fight, Until the lv9999 ver where it's mandatory to have the Guts skill. Otherwise it just one shots lmao, but ite pretty easy to have that skill. But since Frontier servers are closed down. Maybe, just maybe it'll resurface in a new game.
@@MonMoon2 I wish zeruerusu got the cool treatment that unknown got. I know they aren't related but they look like a rathalos and a rathian so it makes me a little sad that zeruerusu didn't really get any cool attacks or epic music.
