KOURABIE: Butter Cookies from Armenian kitchen
HOW TO MAKE
454 grams of room termperature butter
1 cup of icing confectioners sugar
1 tea spoon of vanilla
3 tablespoons of cognac
4 1/2 cups of flour
mix it all together
Make a dough
Shape it as you wish and bake it at 350 degree preheated oven for 30 minutes
Let it cool down completely and sprinkle icing sugar before serving
Enjoy it!!!!

Hears a tip my mom used to do. She would rool out a long rope of dough and cut then into inch and a half long pieces cutting them diagonally and then shaping ueach piece iinto an S hsape. She soud also make 5 ball pyramids, 4 balls grape sized in a square and one on top in the middle. She would also make discs filled with walnuts, cinnamonand sugar, and make larger bals and place a hershey;s chocolate kiss i the top and pres the ball flattish. She would use annisette to flavor them along with orange zest.
