- Install will require a vehicle specific kit along with an adapter depending on the style/model steering wheel you choose. In this case the Grant adapter kit was #3163 for my 1971 Chevy C20 and an additional column adapter to take it from a three bolt pattern to the six bolt needed on this style of wheel. A special shout out to my favorite viewers Hay and Pai!!
Good video. I’m about to purchase a wheel and kit for my k5 blazer. Thanks for the part #. I’m going to a 5 bolt wheel
Good luck!
This video was a great help in figuring out the 3163 hub kit for my 1970 C10. Thanks!!
Glad I could help
Greatly appreciate your video and easy explanation!
Thank you for the kind words.
You didn't remove or replace the snap ring and spring that normally goes behind the horn contact ring? I thought all GM columns from 67-90 (or later) have them?
I have the exact same blue wheel on my 1970 and always wanted to change it. Great video, now even i can change it and not pay someone else---
Will it be the same for 73 C10?
Should be, not much changed in steering wheel mechanics through the 1970's
