I found a drop of Elmers glue on the end of the led will help diffuse the light.

Use a wider angle frosted led

Good question I don't think it has a battery I never remember even seeing one referenced in the circuit diagram or service manual. I honestly am not sure where you would start on that one might be a cpu issue just a guess?

Yes it should be fine at 1.5 watts

@@franciscolopez3229 Anytime enjoy the amp yeah just don't run full power into the RM and should be fine they are good for around 5 watts RMS input after that you would be overdriving it.

I am just itching to do some dxing because as you very well know, propagation on the freeband 11 meter and 10 meter will be open for quite a long time due to the sunspot cycle. Oh, by the way, I'm getting quite confused as how long jumper cables should be, I'm using 3 foot jumpers and it works just fine but some say use either 6, 9 or 12 footers. I did try a 6 footer but my swr went up. All I've got is a Belden RG58 A/U.
