Really a nice option for German users. We are not allowed to carry knives that are locking and can be opened with one hand. But to be honest I prefer my Real Steel Phasma Free. A bit larger and M390...
Hey Metal Underscore Complex. If the screw on the thumb studs will go in the blade it will not be adjustable, it will be permanent or one position. In case of this knife, in my humble opinion, they tried to do an adjustable thumb stud. You get it where you want it and then, maybe, use a thread lock to lock this tiny, mini, micro, small screw... You just got unlucky, it was not tight, aka screw loose. That's all. ☠
Sorry but knowing from the beginning that the thumb-stud could be moved around and/or taken out, how did you think it would screw into the blade? True the way it is is a bit stupid, and insecure. I think the blade should have some kind of jimping for that to "grab" better or the pressure should be lateral into the fuller.
Don't see a lockback often? I think half the knives Spyderco makes these days are lockbacks. Was just saying on a Buck review I don't get people putting backlogs on the back of knives instead of the middle. Seems like it would make it more complicated than it needs to be to open. 100% agree that the N690 is compatible with the price point. And the flying thumbstud. Wew boy.
I missed the stud launch the first time so after rewinding and rewatching I cracked up lol. The price is a tad surprising considering all the other versions of the Luna I’ve seen have been pretty reasonable if not very well priced. Overall I still like the knife even if back locks are not my thing
Hi Complex. For that price point I’ll take my Native 5 lock back in maganacut. The Native isn’t as fancy, but lefty’s can enjoy it to. Made in the USA. I’ll take that trade off. See ya. Great overview.
Hi, MC. Maybe they should send you knives with transcription of the names. We used learn English words by: word in English: transcription: word in Kazakh/Russian 😂
It is a sleek looking knife with a nice blade shape/geometry but I can’t get over the thumbstuds that fly off and the N690 for that price. Kizer N690 with their amazing action and materials come in around 60 to 80 bucks so something has to be done there. But overall it is a nice looking knife and the action is suitable for a lock back.
No lock backs anymore for me. It's just too bad so many, and so much as our goods are made elsewhere. But it is pretty good looking knife. It's just me, but for that money I would expect American made!
What's gross about a lock back? They are extremely stout and reliable. Remember these are tools not fidget toys. Not every knife needs to be played with.
@@SixArmedPriestThere are locks that are stronger and easier to use. Some people prefer not to completely re position their hand in order to disengage the lock. Plus, the vast majority of people enjoy knives for their qualities OTHER than being solely a tool.

Definitely a nice looking knife and like how they did the pocket clip, that style works really well.
Another great video. Thank you and thank you real steel.
If they make a version of this in something like S90V or Elmax, I would be interested.

A moment of silence for our brothers who can't use 1 hand or "flick" knives.
Knife laws are dumb.
11:00 Insert Cartoon bullet noise here.
I would get a Spyderco with premium steel for that price.

If I was left handed I would really understand what you're saying.
Dang why do they always charge so much for N690? I like this knife but thats a big yikes from me.
