Belmont Park in San Diego is part of the Mission Bay/Mission Beach area and it's your prototypical seaside amusement park. It's landlocked and tightly packed, but it's filled with rides, games, and food. You have a historic wooden roller coaster in Giant Dipper plus some unique flat rides. Excellent seaside attraction. They have their own CHARM when coupled with the beach. Prevailing breeze, and smells.

Giant Dipper I just rode as my 12th coaster, first ACE landmark, and 2nd woodie. It was fun and had some good airtime, but the roughness made it less good.

I haven't seen a lot of the newer ones. I really like all the Pixar films I've seen except Cars 2 and 3 (they're just ok). Toy Story 1-3, Incredibles, and Inside Out are some of my favorites.

Octotron is definitely my personal favorite ride there. In early 2015, I asked my parents to take me there to ride it and it was totally worth it.
