    Voyager Class and Freedom Class are my favorite, mostly because they're big enough to have a nice promenade but they're not too big. They typically don't feel super crowded. I like Enchantment mostly for the crew. She's a little old and tired, a little small, but the crew makes up for it. We cruised the Allure one time. The oasis class is just TOOO big. I haven't been on Mariner but have been looking for a reason to go. Specialty dining on Enchantment is just okay. I've had better steaks in the main dining room than I did at Chop's.

      I need to spend more time on RC. Mariner is the perfect size ship IMO. Would love to try a Freedom Class. Seems like the perfect size. Need to try Oasis just to say I did, though. I did celebrity edge (RC Quantum class, basically. That was solid. Thx for watching my vids!

    I never thought I would sit through this....man, I gotta tell you, it was a great delivery. I have watched probably 8 to 10 reviews of this ship and I got more out of your 22 minutes than I did all the others combined. To me this was so authentic, believable and right from the heart, no sugar or sales pitch. Great job, I could hang with you. Will be on the ship with our 2 grand daughters in December. Thanks for the honest review. We are going on a family cruise in Jan 2020. Very excited. This will be our first time on Royal. My wife and I have been on NCL and Carnival previously. This will be our kids first cruise (8 yo b/g twins) My parents and sister and her husband are also going. Their first cruise as well. I am pretty sure that they will all love it. I will be sure to come back and update you after we check it out for ourselves. Our kids love water so I know they are going to love CocoCay. We are getting the thrill park for one day.

    We just came off the mariner of the seas on Monday we did our cruise July 5-8 and it was ok like you said the dining room food could be better but the second day for dinner I order the filet mignon and it was really good the windjammer food could be better as well.

    Not an idiot. This was a great review. Felt very real. Disapointing to hear about the main theater show. I also love the big production shows on ships and on my last cruise on Harmony of the Seas I loved all of the shows. Loved your review here so please do another one on your next cruise. Nice job. My cruise on Mariner in Sept will be a 4 night so got one more night extra. Wonder if Ricky will be our cruise director he looked pretty awesome in your clips.

    • @JoeTolley
      @JoeTolley  5 лет назад

      Ricky was outrageous. Didn't see him outside of the shows though. Yeah, not sure what it was about the show. It was an art theme where paintings came to life and sang. No correlation between the songs though. Probably produced by a fine arts major. I bet that 4th night will be HUGE. Would have loved a sea on that ship. Doing Carnival Horizon and Celebrity Edge reviews in the next couple of weeks, form earlier sailings. Hopefully I'll remember enough. Thanks!

    Hey joe thanks for the comprehensive review of the ship and activities. I had initially booked the helium balloon thing; but canceled it after realizing the ride is only 10 mins. Forget it, because of your vlog I decided my wife and I were just going to enjoy coco cay and not pay anything extra. We sail in 11 days, can’t wait man.

      Oh great,... now I'm costing Royal Caribbean money :) I could easily see doing the balloon at 10 clams, but I also overheard that if there's a lot of wind it will only go up like 200 ft. Yeah, forget it. Thanks so much for watching!

      I can't confirm that it was a full sailing, but I do now that only balconies were available as far out as about 3 months. And considering it was a weekend cruise, It had to at least be just shy of full. But, yeah. GREAT flow... pool deck was always packed though. Forgot to mention that since we weren't there much and you'll have a Sea Day,

    Thank you for the review. We are headed out on this ship for the first time next week with family members who have never cruised before. I thought many of your comments were good, and I actually said something to my husband about the Stowaway Piano Man about 30 seconds before you mentioned him. So sorry you did not get to see him! I, too, am concerned that since RC has all the specialty restaurants and are pushing those packages, they have really let the MDR & Windjammer food quality drop. We noticed that recently on our Harmony cruise, too. As far as Coco Cay, I agree with you about private islands and actually preferred the Island in it's more "natural" state before the upgrades. We do snorkel there and even though they have reduced the size of the swim/snorkel area and the plane wreck is no longer within the area, we did see great fish and several lobster.

    • @JoeTolley
      @JoeTolley  5 лет назад

      Thanks so much for reading. Hopefully the food was just a fluke, either way, your family members are going to LOVE this since they've never cruised before. Consider the MDR for breakfast at least one morning, especially day 2, I've heard it's relatively empty. Has a buffet and/or order off the menu.... I've never seen lobster in the wild. Had no idea they were there. Always assumed they were in Maine :)
