Can confirm tig button is life changing. Got one for tacking stainless exhaust on the car, Now I don't even use a pedal anymore. So nice when you need to stand for a weld, or anything really.
99% of the time he is welding not propping on anything and is steady as a rock. That is very difficult to keep it straight as demonstrated here. Simply amazing.
I have a hard time freehand welding, I mig weld which I’m sure is even easier to freehand compared to tig. I build 53’ enclosed trailers like nascar stuff and truck pull stuff, shit for Porsche and Michelin, cooper tires, KTM, and other stuff, right now building pods for Three Olives, built stuff for Chick-fil-A! I’ve always wanted to learn to tig tho, we do some tig like aluminum handrails and fuel tanks, some stuff on the lift gates are aluminum to. Just don’t have the time to learn at work or even after work since we only have 1 morning shift
@@reaction9449 Look for some local use equipment or HTTP welder are not so expensive and good quality i bought one chinese tig for around 100$. I try welding steel 3/16 thick at 100 amps on 120 and it wasn't enough maybe i should have try aluminum can.
cant believe I just watched someone build a tiny intercooler for 20 minutes... but the process, the care, and WELDS! tip of the hat to you sir, I've never welded in my life and this makes me want to do it.
Display of a true masters work!!!! I absolutely enjoyed watching this video and for that matter each and everyone of your other videos! The accuracy, consistency and quality of your work are second to none! Thanks for sharing and keep up the excellent work!
God this is some high quality work, all of the little steps you do to avoid any small aluminum particles from getting inside to the robot looking beads. Incredible. Love the video man.
I really like watching your fabrication and welding techniques, I also was, at one time well versed in TIG welding of Aluminum, I learned all that I could, while now I am an old timer, the old timers of my time, knew it only as Heliarc welding, they really knew their stuff and helped me to become ardent professional. Keep those videos coming, I think they help newcomers in learning the trade. Keep up the good work!
You are simply brilliant. That welding is like a perfect decoration not a joining of two pieces of metal. Unbelievable! I have not seen this skill anywhere before. Thank you.
Old, practiced hands can make works of art using the crappiest equipment. I knew a welder, Tan, in ChoLon, SaiGon, now retired, who specialised in heavy metal welding such as as railway wheels, nut & screw washing barrels, boat propellers (up to 1.5M), etc. Had muscles of steel and did all his work sitting on stools outside his workshop. His work was so good his customers ranged from boat yards to government agencies to industrial manufacturers - all done with an ancient welder and his talent acquired through years of work. May you have a long retirement Tan.
Proud subscriber to page and website for a few yrs now. It's so much easier to learn when someone isn't talking and explaining every single little detail that is not necessary. My wife laughs about that. Keep up the awesome work.
this guys basic demonstration on how to use templates is amazing.... I used to work in a fabrating shop and would occasionally tig weld. it was one of the greatest learning experiences of my life.... thanks again for the good memories and flashbacks... TOP notch work !!!!!
Wow from one welder to another, absolutely incredible! Your work is as good as it gets, not to mention TIG welding is the most difficult form of welding.
Acetylene is definitely the most difficult and after that I think stick. Open root is a shit ton easier with tig then stick. Most people can weld a nice 6g with tig but not with stick
Came here randomly and although this was an amazing piece of work, i was absolutely captivated by the stubby scissors. FFS how did I make it through so many decades of life without realizing I really have no need for 80% of a scissors length. I am about to get medieval on about a half dozen scissors in my house.
Beautiful work this was my life at a job i had , tig welding Prototype aluminum heat exchanger's together , Weld, Machine and fabricate , in the auto industrie .awesome job with that torch and filler rod.
Glad to see I'm not the only one with problems doffing the electrode on those sheetmetal inside corner joints. I don't know what it is but outsides are so much easier! Thanks for the videos.
Im in school right now for welding. I've tried welding aluminum and dear God it's freaking difficult. I either blow through or can't get the bead started. Your welds are so freaking impressive and I'm working towards being on your level. Good job man
This video is some straight Welding ASMR! Haahah! This was so cool to watch, I'm actually gonna start trade school in January for welding, and watching videos like this one gets me excited!!!
I also have a bad case of mechanical OCD. it has its ups and downs. But generally the end result is pretty cool. Thanks for the vids. You’re a true pro.
I bought one of the first inverter bread box china made tig units years ago (DC) only of course. Bought my first full size AC/DC unit late last year, the quality is okay but its doesn't have the adjustments you need to do the kind of work you see in this video. It seems like the quality of these inverter machines change and improve every 6 months or less and as I gain more confidence I want more capabilities in my machine. I will be ordering a new machine just as soon as I finish writing this. I've watched this video before but watching it again pushed me off the fence because I know the machine I have can't produce anything like what your doing. The new machine will have better processes but the operator will still have a long way to go. And, I'm only a hobbyist who has been stick and mig welding for 50 years. Love your work and your videos. Gotta run, I hear Amazon calling my name.......
This guy's beads look like they were done by a machine.Hes not just a fabricator.Hes an artist.
Agreed
So fucking precise welding
Ikr I wasn't interested in the intercooler. I just saw the welds in the thumbnail and had to watch.
welding porn at its finest

How did i know i would see you here :) love watching both you guys work :)
I can operate a pedal with my knees, my elbows, my shoulder lol, … I never tried the tig button but I’ve heard great things.

Everyone should learn how to weld, do it, get a friend to show you or take a class, you won't regret it
I enjoyed this one a lot. It helped me understand how a double pass intercooler works.

Seen a lot of welding in my short life but you do good work glad to see pride in the work you do nice job
That was great. Of all the fab stuff out there, I've never seen an intercooler made from a raw core to finished product.
I wish I had the patients to learn the skills this guy has. This is amazing work
All I can say is that his seams from welding are in themselves works of art. Gives details an urban, technological and professional look.

Wow 59 years old learned something new thank you I love the channel
The quality of these welds/beads is insane.
Man, you have hands of gold !
Hands of God * 😂
Man you are a master .I love watching people weld aluminum I wished I had learned how back in my younger days. Its awesome
I cant watch these fab videos without catching myself blinking to anticipate the arc flash as if I'm wearing my speed glass. Another great build man.
@Charlie Blanchard, do you have any adjustments on your helmet? A decent helmet with speed glass shouldn’t let you get flashed when you start the arc.
@@carportshenanigans5918 I was thinking the same thing. I used Speedglas and Miller products and never had to blink prior to the lens darkening.
You are simply brilliant. That welding is like a perfect decoration not a joining of two pieces of metal. Unbelievable! I have not seen this skill anywhere before. Thank you.

Nice work! I miss building intercoolers and radiators. I worked for Bell Intercoolers for 8yrs. Gerhard was an awesome designer and boss.
I'm on the fence about what method of welding to learn first- and oh man, watching your videos makes TIG look SO cool and neat.
Thank you for the pressure test and explanation.
